Château La Fleur-Pétrus 2011 Red
244,08 €
A medium ruby color is followed by a live nose of sweet kirsch, raspberries, flowers and notes of dusty and solitary soil. This fantastically scented 2011 is medium bodied, quintessentially elegant and loaded with flavor. Obviously the Moueixs devoted considerable time and money to updating this terroir, as recent wines were among the most impressive wines I have ever tasted from La Fleur-Petrus. This relatively advanced 2011 Pomerol should drink well for 10-15 years. Contains Sulfites.

Intense straw color with very slight greenish reflections. Lively, intense aroma, already revealing some depth. The ripe citrus fruits, light tropical freshness, yellow and white flowers and a nuance to a petroleum aroma stand out. Beautiful set supported by soft notes from aging in barrels. Mineral. In the mouth it is dry and at the same time silky. Very balanced acidity that lasts until the end. Dense and at the same time elegant texture. Citrus and floral explosion. Persistent and very long finish supported by barrel sensations. Very coherent. Contains sulfites.

Arco D’Aguieira Red

Fermentation and maceration in stainless steel vats and, for a small part in mill. Post fermentation with hot maceration for 2 to 3 weeks at a controlled temperature of 32ºC. Aged in French oak barrels for 1 year. With an intense garnet color and ripe tannins, this wine is powerful and deeply fruity. The concentrated aromas of wild fruits and the subtle notes of wood, due to its aging, make this wine complex and rich. It is balanced, full-bodied, with a persistent finish. Contains sulfites.
