Founded in 1920 by the brothers José, Manuel and Albano Costa, Caves São João is a family business that was originally dedicated to the marketing of fine Douro wines and liqueurs. Today, the oldest family-run wine company still operating in the municipality of Anadia, in the 1930s, it passed the ban on the production of Porto wines outside Vila Nova de Gaia, to sell Bairrada table wines. At the end of the 50’s, one of the most famous wine brands in the Bairrada region – the “Frei João” – was born and, a little later, the “Porta dos Cavaleiros” brand from the Dão region. Discover Casa Relvas Pom-Pom Rosé, a wine from Redondo, Alentejo, blending the freshness and unique delicacy of Touriga Nacional, Aragonez, and Syrah grapes. Fermentation is carried out under controlled temperatures in stainless steel, with 10% of the wine aged for 4 months in French oak barrels, adding a subtle complexity. It presents a light pink color with salmon hues, unveiling fresh aromas of red fruits and citrus on the nose.
On the palate, Casa Relvas Pom-Pom Rosé is intense and engaging, with notes of red fruits, a fresh, creamy, and mineral character. It perfectly complements grilled fish, seafood, sushi, and salads, and should be served chilled to maximize its liveliness.
Terra Chama Touriga Nacional Rose

Grapes from 21-year-old vines, hand-picked into 20 kg boxes. The must was obtained by the open spout method with direct pressing of whole grapes, and later decanted at low temperature for a period of 24 hours. Fermented in stainless steel vats at a temperature of 15ºC for a period of 18 days. It aged naturally in contact with fine lees for 5 months in stainless steel vats. Minimal intervention. Pale pink color that reveals a delicate rosé. It is complex and intense on the nose with notes of red fruits, floral touches and evident minerality. In the mouth it has a good volume and excellent freshness.

The grapes that make up this wine were destemmed and fermented in an open press with manual treading. Malolactic fermentation and prolonged aging of 20 months in new (70%) and used barrels, both in French oak. Naturally stabilized wine during prolonged aging in barrels. 1400 bottles were produced. Complex and well-defined aroma, with notes of ripe cherry, blueberry and light floral traces. Cedarwood, forest floor, tobacco box and spice add aromatic complexity. In the mouth it proves to be an elegant wine, full of minerality and freshness, reflecting well the limestone soils from which it comes. It is simultaneously a deep, structured and complex wine, with a long and persistent finish.
Tiago Cabaço Alicante Bouschet Magnum Red

The harvest was performed manually for small capacity boxes. After destemming the grapes, they were trampled on foot in modern temperature-controlled stainless steel presses, followed by aging in French oak barrels and prolonged aging in the bottle. Fermentation steps on foot in stainless steel tanks with temperature control. Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. Compact ruby color, fine but powerful tannins. Complex aroma where notes of ripe red fruits are mixed. Long and elegant finish. Contains Sulfites.

Aging for 6 months in stainless steel vats and 12 months in bottle. Pale lemon color, complex aroma, with floral notes, orange and honey. In the mouth it is dry, fresh with well-defined acidity, unctuous, long and persistent. .
Quinta dos Carvalhais Tinta Roriz Red

Ruby colored wine, very young. On the nose there are aromas of ripe black fruit, notes of pine and pine needles and nuances of truffle and moss. Subtly also appear the barrel notes, where the wine passed for 18 months. In the mouth, it is surprising for its freshness and firm tannin with claw, but refined. It is a wine with a good volume in the mouth, with a long and balanced finish. Contains sulfites.

A wine with a citrus color, aromatic with touches of asparagus and soft tropical, end of mouth persistent and mineral. Fish and shellfish, poultry and whole white meats.
