Manual reassembly 2x day and temperature 24ºC. overlapping stage for 365 days until the harvest date of the new harvest. Transport in boxes of 20 kg, destemming with crushing, pre-fermentative maceration for 48 hours, followed by alcoholic fermentation with controlled temperature at 24ºC. Stage in new French oak barrels where it remains for 14 months. Color red garnet, aromas of black plums and wild blackberries in good dialogue with the barrel. Contains Sulfites.

Organic Wine: Fermentation and aging with agitation of fine lees in 500 Lts of French Oak barrels. Granitic soil of the Douro Superior, very sandy at an average altitude of 575 meters. Manual harvest for small 15 kg perforated boxes. The grapes are pressed without crushing and without destemming under an inert atmosphere in order to preserve all the aromatic potential of the grapes. A great effort is made so that all pre-fermentation operations are carried out within the strictest rigor, being responsible for the intrinsic quality of the future wine while preserving the primary aromas. Mineral and citrus aroma of grapefruit and exotic fruits, with discrete barrel notes well integrated. Very persistent and fresh mouth with citric notes and very lively acidity, in harmony with fat and well structured notes of the barrel aging, allowing to foresee longevity.
Carm Grande Reserva Red

Total destemming, gentle crushing and thermal shock, followed by a period of cold pre-fermentative maceration in the mill for about 12 to 24 hours. Malolactic fermentation occurred naturally, part of the wine carried out this fermentation in wood. On the nose, very fresh and intense where the notes of wild fruits and black cherries predominate in balance with seductive “nuances of Liquorice”, the aroma being complexed by the notes of wood. In the mouth it is concentrated, warm, with firm tannins and smooth texture, a very intense and persistent finish showing the strength of Douro Superior wines. Contains sulfites.
