In the mouth it reveals great impact, voluminous and enveloping. Very different tannins, notes of apricot and peach. Medium in a fresh and dry mouth, at the end you can clearly see the richness of this different wine with notes of toasted and well salted nuts. Manual harvest, uncrushed grapes, carbonic maceration with fermentation starter with whole berry. Manual reassembly 2x day and temperature 24ºC. overlapping stage for 365 days until the harvest date of the new harvest. Static decantation for 6 months and consequent stage on lees. 1 year aging in bottle before coming to the market. Contains Sulfites.

Grapes from a vineyard called Vinha do Dote. All grapes are harvested by hand in 20 kg boxes. After a complete destemming and light crushing, they moved to stainless steel vats where they fermented. Total aging in Portuguese and French oak barrels for 15 months. Vineyards with an average age of 90 years. It presents an intense ruby color, reserved aroma with great complexity. Some spice, vegetable notes and hidden ripe fruit. Present and expressive fruit, wild fruits. Good volume in the mouth, serious, ripe and textured tannins and with freshness to balance the set well. Very long and persistent finish. Contains sulfites.

For Álvaro Castro, the viticulture and the characteristics of each year are that shape each harvest, however, dedication and alertness are essential so that nature can be "protected", in order to exercise the minimum of human intervention in the elaboration of each one of their wines. This field blend, which joins castes from Quinta da Pellada and Casa da Passarella, has been staging for 14 months in allier oak casks. Intense ruby color, very concentrated in the aroma, modern and vigorous style. In the mouth, compote and game notes in which the final toasted notes leave a pleasant memory.
