Discover Maria Antonieta Red, an elegant and complex wine from the Montargil region, in Portalegre, Alentejo. Horta Osório Sousão Red

After manual harvesting, the grapes were transported in boxes of 18 kg capacity so as not to harm the integrity of the bunch. Once in the cellar, the boxes were unloaded onto a sorting mat for the first sorting of the grapes. This was followed by destemming, choosing berry by berry and crushing them, which were transported by gravity to stainless steel fermentation tanks. After 48 hours of pre-fermentation maceration at low temperatures, alcoholic fermentation took place for 10 days where, depending on the plot and age of the vine, a specific protocol was performed for the Sousão variety. Using gentle vinification techniques, it was possible to extract all the varietal character of the variety but demonstrate its finesse. After malolactic fermentation, the wine aged in 225L oak barrels for 14 months. After bottling, the wine aged for another 8 months in the bottle. It is a ruby colored wine and almost opaque. In the aroma, it presents notes of black fruit, blue fruit and very resinous and balsamic. In the background, it is possible to feel the complexity of the spices from the barrel stage. In the mouth, it is very fresh, with polished tannins that give structure and volume to the final set and great storage capacity.

The grapes were vinified at controlled temperatures in stainless steel vats before being subjected to a long maceration. The wine aged in French oak barrels for 12 months, with regular agitation, before being blended and bottled. Paço dos Infantes Reserve is a red wine of great aromatic complexity, with an open and mineral bouquet, from the wine region of Alentejo. It is a red wine that has a core full of fruit aromas wrapped in balsamic notes, with intense and smooth tannins and very balanced acidity.

Made 100% with the Alvarinho variety, from grapes from selected winemakers from Melgaço and Monção, and the fruit of fermentation in stainless steel vats using battonage. It is a wine with a strong varietal character, rustic and fresh, as well as round and aromatic, with the minerality that is so appreciated in this variety, and whose elegance and particularity can only be found in great world varieties. After manual harvesting, and transport to the cellar in small boxes (18kg-20kg), the bunches were destemmed and the grapes were macerated for 8 hours, preceded by light pressing and decanting for 48 hours. It fermented at controlled temperature (14º-15ºC) for 15 days. Stage 5 months with battonage. This Alvarinho concentrates the vegetable in the skin, the intensity of aromas, the balance and at the same time the delicate side of this variety. Wine with a greenish color, with an intense aroma, with a tropical and light vegetal touch. Wine well balanced in the mouth. Finishes long and persistent. Contains sulfites.

Grapes from non-irrigated 100% Rufete vineyards, originating in two plots of granitic soils in the parish of Vermiosa, in the heart of the Douro International Natural Park, at an average altitude of 700 meters. Partial destemming and crushing. Integral fermentation in cement vats with indigenous yeasts without temperature control. Aging for 15 months in cement eggs, 10% of this batch aged in used French oak barrels. Complex aroma with sweet vegetable notes in combination with wild fruits and spices. Aging for 12 months, it was made in centenary barrels of Portuguese oak and chestnut.
