Reception with destemming and immediate crushing. Fermentation in stainless steel vats of 18 tons capacity, with tanning at around 26ºC. Intense and prolonged macerations and partial malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels. Stage for 10 months in new and used French oak barrels. The stage begins to obtain a wine of great aromatic elegance, where the aromas of the Douro are not masked by the excess of barrel notes. Very smooth and well-ripened tannins, fresh and aromatic, very elegant, with an unusually long finish.

Villa Oliveira Pedras Altas Red

Discover winemaking excellence with the Villa Oliveira Pedras Altas Red. Originating from the majestic Serra da Estrela, this wine reflects the uniqueness of a mountain climate and poor granitic soils, giving it a rare complexity. The selection of native grape varieties, including Baga, Alfrocheiro, and Touriga Nacional, promises a rich sensory experience.
Crafted through traditional methods, the Villa Oliveira Pedras Altas Red undergoes careful vinification in cement vats and matures for 18 months in oak barrels, gaining deep nuances. The result is an opaque red wine with an intensive bouquet of red fruits.
Upon tasting, it is full-bodied, fresh, and elegant, with a long and persistent finish. Ideal for pairing with robust meat dishes and cheeses, this wine is perfect to enjoy now or save, revealing its aging potential. Discover the perfect harmony between tradition and quality with each bottle.
Quinta da Pellada Mulher Nua Red
25,76 €
Spontaneous fermentation, obviously with indigenous yeasts, took place in a stainless steel mill, followed by a 36-month stage in three 400L oak casks, second/third use. Direct gravity bottling. This wine is the result of an attempt to recreate the Pelada 2003, in which, at the time, it was intended to demonstrate the elegant and balanced character of Dão wines. A part of the lot comes from the Alto and Meio plots, from the old vineyard (70 years old) of Quinta da Pellada, where there is a great genetic heritage, with no predominance of any variety. The other part of the lot comes from Touriga Nacional from plot 5 of Quinta da Pellada. Contains sulfites.
