A 37-year-old Rum Dictator, from a single barrel from 1980, finished in sherry barrels and then dispatched to Despagne in Bordeaux. The rum spent another four months in new French oak barrels, one and two years old, originally used for the superlative 2015 and 2016 vintage Merlot / Cabernet Francs of Despagne.
