Soalheiro Alvarinho Bruto Magnum White
40,36 €
The Alvarinho grapes used in the Winemaking of the Sparkling Soalheiro are selected in the vines with a lower sugar concentration and fresh acidity implanted in soil of granite origin between 100 and 200 meters of altitude. Melgaço, the northernmost region of Portugal, is protected by a series of mountain ranges that allow a perfect marriage between rainfall, temperature and the number of hours of sunshine required to better ripen the grapes of the Alvarinho variety. from the Alvarinho grape variety requires a careful choice of grapes. The wort resulting from this selection ferments the temperature controlled, obtaining the base wine for sparkling wine. This wine suffers, already in bottle, a second fermentation. The permanence in the basement, the low temperature and constant for several months allows this sparkling wine to show all the elegance of the Alvarinho variety. After this stage of fermentation and stage, degorgement is carried out, an operation that allows the elimination of the existing yeasts in the bottle and the replacement of the provisional metal capsule by the definitive stopper typical of the sparkling wine. It presents yellow citrine color, fine and persistent bubble. The aroma reveals the fruit of the Alvarinho variety, denoting a good balance between acidity and alcohol. The flavor has persistence and complexity. Contains sulfites.
