Dow’s Vintage 2000 Ruby
For over two centuries the name Dow's is referred to as one of the best Port wines. Throughout the twentieth and twenty-first centuries, the Symington generations have worked in Quinta do Bomfim and Quinta da Senhora da Ribeira creating, from these vines, wines superbly concentrated, intense and tannic when young, with aging appear the elegance and the perfume with aromas of violet and mint. The driest finish constitutes the distinctive brand image of the wines of this great company of Port Wines. Deep purple color, so dark that it's almost blue / black. This is a wine of great vigor, with excellent aromas of plums and cassis. In the mouth, it has the typical flavors of Dow's, licorice and spices, as well as great depth and structure. It presents surprising aromas of ripe fruit giving it a wonderful complexity, ending with vigorous and firm tannins and a typical spicy dryness. Martha’s Single Vat Vintage 2017 Ruby
2017 will be remembered for the very dry conditions, projecting this year to be one of the driest ever. The harvest was extraordinarily precocious, the grapes were, in general, exceptionally healthy and perfectly ripe, with very thick films, producing dense, very well structured and deep wines, showing great aroma reserves, with a pleasant mineral dimension which gives a touch of elegance and sobriety to the fruity, this very intense and powerful. It presents a dense, intense and opaque purple color. The nose is opulent, with notes of red fruits, spices and tobacco leaves. Delicate tannins with menthol notes. Excellent structure and balance. Quinta do Crasto Vintage 2015 Ruby
Quinta do Crasto Porto Vintage 2015 aged in Portuguese oak barrels, where it remained for about 2 years. It was bottled, without any bonding or filtration, being subject to creating a slight deposit during its aging in the bottle. The grapes, from Vinhas Velhas, were transported in food plastic boxes and subjected to a rigorous sorting at the entrance of the cellar. After a gentle crushing without destemming, they were sent to a traditional stone press where they were stepped on by men at regular intervals. Subsequently, wine spirit was added, thus stopping fermentation. Opaque color, excellent concentration and aromatic depth, where you can highlight the expressive notes of ripe wild fruits, fresh rockrose and mild spice. In the mouth it has an elegant beginning, progressively evolved into a wine of great volume and concentration, composed of fresh tannins with a firm and very compact texture. It finishes fresh, very long and elegant, with a notable aromatic explosion of very ripe wild fruits, in perfect harmony with rockrose notes. Everything in perfect balance, which provides a high potential for aging in the bottle. Contains sulfites.

Quinta de Ventozelo Vintage 2018 Ruby
Grapes harvested manually, with a very careful selection. After manual harvesting, the grapes were carefully inspected and destemmed. An intense maceration was then carried out in the first 48 hours to extract all the good components from the films, followed by fermentation in stainless steel vats with temperature control. This was interrupted with the addition of brandy at the exact moment, followed by an aging process under careful conditions of minimal oxidation. Vintage de Ventozelo expresses all the typical terroir of cooler years and later vintage. Very heavily colored, with bluish tones. This vintage evokes the uniqueness of a very own and distinctive Quinta, with a characteristic aroma of rock rose and rosemary, combined with very ripe fruit. Fresh and silky, with robust tannins and a very persistent wild finish. Contains sulfites.

It results in a wine with great character, structure and storage capacity but also with a great balance. Deep ruby color. Dense but extraordinarily balanced.
