Quinta do Cachão Vintage 1965 Ruby
Fermented wine with partial destemming at a controlled temperature (24-28ºC) when the must reaches the desired sweetness value, fermentation is interrupted by the addition of brandy (77%), later aging in oak wood, in the warehouses in Vila Nova de Gaia until it is bottled, between the 2nd and 3rd year, after approval. Wine with an intense and complex aroma with notes of spices, namely cloves, in the mouth it is a fresh wine that demonstrates its elegance and structure.

Integrated in the celebrations project of the 1st centenary of Caves de São João, which will take place in 2020, the company just launched another product, now with the label 94 years of history. The bottles, in a limited edition, with the brand 94 Years of History, present a label allusive to the decade of 60-70, the so-called "Rebel Years" that remind us of the fifth decade of the existence of Caves de São João. that the Caves of São João begins to distil brandy. Kopke Colheita 1965 Tawny
Harvested by hand at their optimum point, the grapes are destemmed, crushed and vinified according to a process based on careful maceration with extraction of color, tannins and aromas from the films, complemented by permanent reassembly during fermentation. This takes place in mills, at a controlled temperature between 28-30ºC, until reaching the desired Baumé degree. At this stage, the wine brandy (benefit) is added, giving rise to a fortified wine. High quality wine from a single harvest. It ages in wood for variable periods of time, never less than 7 years. Vivid amber color, high impact aroma, with notes of dried fruit and liqueur. Wonderful balance, good structure and smoothness. Freshness seduces and envelops the senses. Elegant and endless ending. Contains sulfites.
