Quinta de Ventozelo Touriga Nacional Red
Manual harvesting, the grapes were received in the cellar, in the special line, with total destemming and manual selection of bunches and later “bag by bago” by an optical selection machine. The vinification was carried out in a mill, with pre-fermentation maceration and temperature control. 12 months of partial aging in French oak barrels. Deep color, with violet reflections. It presents a rich aroma, which harmoniously combines the fruity character of blueberries and black plum, with the freshness of floral notes. In the mouth it reveals good acidity, round tannins, finishing in a silky and persistent way. Contains sulfites.
Quinta de Ventozelo Essência Red
Manual harvest, starting at the end of September, with careful selection of grapes. Upon arrival at the winery, the grapes underwent a double selection: manual and using an optical sorting machine, which selects berry by berry according to their size and shape. After an initial cold maceration, fermentation in stainless steel vats at controlled temperature followed. 18 months in 500 liter French oak barrels (50% new and 50% used). This wine has a deep ruby color. Aromatic complex, with a predominance of black and ripe red fruit aromas, involved with a smoky touch, as a result of the long aging in barrels. In the mouth it is vibrant, with fruit and tannins. It finishes in a persistent and slightly spicy tasting, revealing great aging potential. Contains sulfites.
Quinta de Ventozelo Viosinho White
Manual harvest, during the month of September for 25 kg boxes. After a selection of bunches in the vineyard, the berries were chosen by optical sorting, choosing the perfect berries. These were then refrigerated, de-stemmed and pressed in an inert environment. The subsequent decantation and fermentation took place at a temperature of 16°C. This single variety has a very fresh character, with a pale and crystalline appearance. Very lively on the nose, reveals expressive fruit with a floral touch. On the palate it is a balanced wine, with good volume, assertive acidity and minerality. Contains sulfites.
Quinta de Ventozelo Tinto Cão Red
Manual harvest, during the month of September. The grapes were received at the winery, in the special line, with total destemming and manual selection of bunches and later “berry by berry” by an optical sorting machine. Fermentation was carried out in a press, with pre-fermentation maceration and temperature control. 12 months of partial aging in French oak barrels. Bright, open ruby color. Very expressive and fruity on the nose, reminiscent of fruit bonbon, which is prolonged during the tasting. Fresh vegetable notes also stand out on the palate, elegantly involved with silky tannins, but full of character, and balanced acidity. Contains sulfites.
Ventozelo Craft Dry com copo
The blend of selected botanical species was macerated in wine alcohol, to which wine spirit was added, both from the distillation of wines at Quinta de Ventozelo. To the characteristic aromas of the forest, the vegetable garden and the orchard, joins the vinous aroma of the wine spirit that composes this Gin, which runs through the entire tasting, giving it smoothness and persistence. An excellent marriage of the fresh and citrus notes of lemon peel, mint, coriander leaves and lemon thyme, with the aromas of the woods, juniper, lavender, beautiful light thyme and perpetual purple. In order to maintain the purity of its aromas, this gin should be served with unflavored tonic water, ice and three juniper berries. At the end, the glass can be decorated with a grape or an olive.
Quinta de Ventozelo Vintage 2018 Ruby
Grapes harvested manually, with a very careful selection. After manual harvesting, the grapes were carefully inspected and destemmed. An intense maceration was then carried out in the first 48 hours to extract all the good components from the films, followed by fermentation in stainless steel vats with temperature control. This was interrupted with the addition of brandy at the exact moment, followed by an aging process under careful conditions of minimal oxidation. Vintage de Ventozelo expresses all the typical terroir of cooler years and later vintage. Very heavily colored, with bluish tones. This vintage evokes the uniqueness of a very own and distinctive Quinta, with a characteristic aroma of rock rose and rosemary, combined with very ripe fruit. Fresh and silky, with robust tannins and a very persistent wild finish. Contains sulfites.

After sorting the bunches in the vineyard, the berries were also chosen by optical sorting at the entrance to the cellar, so that only the perfect berries were used. These were then refrigerated, destemmed and pressed in an inert environment. Subsequent cold decanting and fermentation took place at a temperature of 16ºC. Stage in stainless steel vats. Soft in color, pale pink with red nuances. It shows an intense and fresh aroma of red fruits, especially raspberries, with light vegetable notes. Acidity elegantly balanced with the volume in the mouth, making it a very appetizing rosé. Contains sulfites.
Quinta de Ventozelo Touriga Franca Red
Manual harvest, during the month of September. The grapes were received at the winery, in the special line, with total destemming and manual selection of bunches and later “berry by berry” by an optical sorting machine. Vinification was carried out in a press, with pre-fermentation maceration and temperature control. No wooden stage. This wine shows an intense garnet color and good aromatic complexity, with lots of ripe fruit. It is a wine structured on the palate, with great smoothness and persistence. Very balanced. Contains sulfites.

The grapes were received at the winery, in the special line, with total destemming and manual selection of bunches and later “berry by berry” by an optical sorting machine. Fermentation was carried out in a press, with pre-fermentation maceration and temperature control. Internship for 18 months. This wine shows a violet color and a smooth and fruity aromatic profile. It is a complex wine on the palate, deep but delicate. The aromas of ripe fruit that can be felt in the nose also appear with subtlety in the mouth and linger at the end of the tasting. Manual harvest, during the month of September. At the entrance to the winery, the grapes were rigorously selected. This was followed by fermentation in stainless steel vats at low temperatures (15-16º), in order to enhance the fermentative aromas of the varieties. Combined in 300 liter French and Hungarian oak barrels for 6 months. This Reserva displays a very elegant profile. On the nose, citrus aromas stand out, but also notes of apricot and a floral touch. On the palate it has vibrant acidity and structure, with a long, mineral finish. Contains sulfites.

After a selection of bunches in the vineyard, the berries were chosen by optical sorting at the entrance of the winery, in order to take advantage of only the perfect berries. These were then refrigerated, de-stemmed and pressed in an inert environment. The subsequent cold decantation and fermentation took place at a temperature of 16°C. This single variety has a very elegant profile and citrine color. On the nose, the aromas of stone fruits and flowers stand out. The grapes were harvested by hand and transported to the cellar in 20 kg boxes. They were vinified in mills with treading on foot. Fermentation took place over 6 days in the mill with indigenous yeasts. This followed an 18-month stage in 600 liter kites. Intense ruby color, we bring the nose closer to the glass and the aroma is gradually discovered. First, the cistus, juniper, stands out, progressing to a universe of freshness seasoned by aromatic herbs. It is then alive and full of fruit. In the mouth it attacks with volume, a soft sphere surrounded by soft tannins slides for a long and fresh finish. Contains sulfites.

Amber wine with greenish glints, an intense, exquisite and very complex Port, combining notes of nuts (almonds, hazelnuts), with balsamic and spice suggestions. Quinta da Boavista Vinha do Ujo 3L Red
Located near Pinhão on the right bank of the Douro and with a spectacular view of the river, Quinta da Boavista is one of the most iconic properties in the region, known not only for its historical connection to Baron de Forrester but also for its 40 hectares of high quality vineyards. The Vine of the Ujo was planted in 1930 in pre-phylloxeric horizontal levels and the land is supported by small schist walls. Its more than 25 breeds spread on small terraces exposed to the sunset. The vineyard has an altitude that varies between 180 and 210 meters. Deep red and deep red wine. Impressive aroma that takes us to an orchard of bergamots, fresh wild scents, as well as floral notes and minerals, demonstrating a superb complexity and depth. In the mouth it is unique, impressing by the finesse and the beautiful integration with the wood. Long and persistent. Manual harvesting, destemming and soft smashing of berries. The fermentation of the grapes takes place in new barrels of French wood of 500 liters. After a period of maceration the resulting wine continues its stage for 16 months in barrels of 225 liters also of French oak.
