The vinification was carried out in a mill, with pre-fermentation maceration and temperature control. 12 months of partial aging in French oak barrels. Deep color, with violet reflections. It presents a rich aroma, which harmoniously combines the fruity character of blueberries and black plum, with the freshness of floral notes. In the mouth it reveals good acidity, round tannins, finishing in a silky and persistent way. Contains sulfites.

The grapes were received at the winery, in the special line, with total destemming and manual selection of bunches and later “berry by berry” by an optical sorting machine. Fermentation was carried out in a press, with pre-fermentation maceration and temperature control. 12 months of partial aging in French oak barrels. Bright, open ruby color. Very expressive and fruity on the nose, reminiscent of fruit bonbon, which is prolonged during the tasting. Fresh vegetable notes also stand out on the palate, elegantly involved with silky tannins, but full of character, and balanced acidity. Contains sulfites.
Quinta de Ventozelo Touriga Franca Red

The grapes were received at the winery, in the special line, with total destemming and manual selection of bunches and later “berry by berry” by an optical sorting machine. Vinification was carried out in a press, with pre-fermentation maceration and temperature control. No wooden stage. This wine shows an intense garnet color and good aromatic complexity, with lots of ripe fruit. It is a wine structured on the palate, with great smoothness and persistence. Very balanced. Contains sulfites.
Quinta de Ventozelo Tinta Amarela Red

The grapes were received at the winery, in the special line, with total destemming and manual selection of bunches and later “berry by berry” by an optical sorting machine. Fermentation was carried out in a press, with pre-fermentation maceration and temperature control. Internship for 18 months. This wine shows a violet color and a smooth and fruity aromatic profile. It is a complex wine on the palate, deep but delicate. The aromas of ripe fruit that can be felt in the nose also appear with subtlety in the mouth and linger at the end of the tasting. Contains sulfites.
Pombal do Vesúvio Red
This is the second wine from Quinta do Vesuvio, whose name refers to the Pombal Vineyard, characterized by the existence of an old and traditional Douro pombal and where Touriga Nacional grapes are produced, which represent an important component in the final lot of the Pombal Vesúvio. Grapes harvested by hand and transported to the cellar in 20kg boxes, then placed in stainless steel vats with full bunch, where they are fermented with native yeast and minimal intervention. Aging for 18 months in stainless steel vat. Legitimate uses the normal Douro grape varieties, but seeks the same seductive appeal that the Bastard offers, a spicy and greedy lightness that makes it soft, fresh and appetizing. Contains Sulfites.
