Bayou Select
Described as 'the rum for bourbon lovers', Bayou Select is a distilled copper pot from Louisiana's sugarcane, aged in the Solera method for up to three years. The result is a creamy rum with a bourbon-esque character, accompanied by cinnamon and maple notes. The Solera method involves a pyramid of stacked barrels. The oldest liquid is in the bottom layer of the barrels, the youngest at the top. When a lot is harvested, it is filled only by a part of the bottom layer, and these barrels are covered with rum from the layer that is on them. This second layer is, in turn, complemented with the contents of the third layer and so on. This process is a way to naturally mix spirits for consistent taste and quality.

Jack Daniels launches yet another limited edition bottle commemorating the 120th anniversary of the famous white rabbit saloon in Lynchburg, Tennessee. The saloon was owned by Jack Daniels himself and located in the heart of downtown in Lynchburg, the world's first bar to sell Jack Daniels. This commemorative bottle was launched in September because, as everyone knows, the entire month of September is dedicated to Jack Daniels, the month of his birthday. Each bottle is identified exclusively with the one number printed on the label.

Previously situated in Lynchburg Town Square, all that remains of the Red Dog SaloonTM are myths and legends - so far. The limited edition Red Dog SaloonTM celebrates the days when we could buy a drink of Jack Whiskey's soft whiskey in the town where it was made. Like every drop of Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey, this limited edition is distilled in Lynchburg, just as it was when Mr. Jack opened his parlor back in 1892. And if the Red Dog Saloon was similar to his sister's watering hole, White Rabbit SaloonTM, the house was full of music, comradeship and conversation.

It is a whiskey with a lot of sweetness, there is evidence of dry spices and oily nuts, a touch of smoke. Very soft palate with notes of banana smoothie, a mixed note of nuts, a touch of caramel with white cream. Sweet finish with a little sweetness of cereal and toasted oak.
