Jack Daniel’s Master Distiller series has reached its fifth release and is celebrating the fifth Master Distiller of the world-famous Tennessee whiskey – Frank Bobo! Frank was the Jack Daniel distillation master from 1966 to 1988, and oversaw the continuous meteoric rise in popularity of whiskey. It’s a whiskey with a lot of sweetness. There is evidence of dried spices and oily nuts, a touch of smoke. Very soft palate with notes of banana smoothie, a mixed note of nuts, a touch of caramel with white cream. Sweet finish with a little sweetness of cereal and toasted oak.

Over time, these fresh sweet notes give way to a pronounced cinnamon spice. The fresh fruit on the nose continues on the palate and becomes slightly darker, with flavors of fresh plum and cherry. This is followed by citrus, similar to candied orange peel, emerging before a final pinch of cinnamon. The finish is clean with continuous apple and grape flavors.
