The grapes were harvested by hand, carefully selected in the vineyard and cellar. After lightly crushing the grapes, it was followed by cold maceration in stainless steel vats open for 3 days. Fermentation took 2 weeks with daily pumping over. After the fermentation was over, the mills were closed and kept like this for 2 weeks. The wine aged for 14 months in new and used 225L French oak barrels. Intense aroma with notes of spices, balsamic, floral and cedar. From the Merlot variety, the aromas come with notes of green pepper and chocolate. In the mouth, soft and ripe tannins, filled with the freshness and red fruit typical of Touriga Nacional. 50% of wine passes through Madeira de Carvalho francês, for a period of more than 6 months. Very deep, very rich and concentrated aromas. Notes of vermilion fruits combined with toasted nuances and baked berries are integrated on a firm and elegant structure. Complex and long, with aging potential. Count me sulfites.

This wine has a deep violet color, and an aromatic intensity that is absolutely characteristic of the variety, with notes of violets and very ripe wild berries, but revealing a well-marked olfactory freshness. In the mouth it is very pleasant being in perfect harmony with the aromas felt. Freshness, body, elegance and persistence. It is a Dão wine with Dão identity. Contains sulfites.

Missão, is a small centennial vineyard of 0.57 hectares with pre-phylloxeric vines of over 100 years. Production is limited to only 500 bottles and 30 magnums. It is located on a gentle slope with east orientation, the soil is of limestone origin from the Lower Jurassic era, with reddish clay. The cultivation and harvesting are totally manual and the sorting of the grapes is done in the vineyard itself. A part of the grapes are destemmed, and the percentage of whole grapes depends on the conditions of each harvest. Fermentation takes place slowly for about 3 weeks, with indigenous yeasts, the flow is smooth and long. After alcoholic fermentation, the wine drains by gravity and the masses are pressed. The whole fills only a traditional 500 liter kite where it stays for 18 months in our basement. The "Missão" is a remarkable wine for its pure expression of Berry. While young, the aromas resemble violet and strawberry. After 7-9 years, the aromas become more complex with a lot of energy and concentration. The tannins, although very alive, are soft, lively acidity, long finish, irreverent and elegant. It is a wine with long aging potential. Contains Sulfites.
