Graham’s Colheita 1963 Tawny

Founded in 1820, Graham’s has two of the best properties in the Douro Valley: Quinta dos Malvedos and Quinta do Tua, which produce wines of exceptional quality with great structure, richness and complexity. Graham’s is an independent company, owned 100% by the Symington family, producers of Port wine since the 19th century and whose ancestors were the origin of the first exports of Porto in 1652. Graham’s is recognized as one of the reference producers of Porto Vintage; his 2007 Vintage achieved 97 points (out of 100 possible) awarded by Robert Parker, the world’s most accredited wine critic who wrote, “The wine-of-the-year candidate … an extraordinary feat.” Contains sulfites.

The palate is silky and sensual, with a soft touch of tingling tannins that continue to support the wine’s structure and vitality. The long finish provides reminiscences of peppery spices, tea leaves and thyme. Contains sulfites.

Graham’s Colheita 1994 Tawny

1994 was an outstanding year in the Douro, acclaimed for producing one of the classic Vintage Ports of the twentieth century. Besides the exceptional lots chosen for bottling as Vintage Port, Peter Symington made a selection of other outstanding wines sourced from Quinta dos Malvedos and Quinta das Lages, which he earmarked for long term ageing in seasoned oak casks for future release as old tawny Ports. Contains sulfites.
