Casa da Passarella O Enólogo – Vinhas Velhas Red
16,15 €
Dão wine, Casa da Passarella O Énologo - Vinhas Velhas, is born from a single vineyard with 80 years, so it is through it that we intend to assume the unique terroir of that parcel. The old vineyard is a set of vines of about 24 different grape varieties (including some white grape varieties, as was absolutely normal at the time) that, over the course of almost a century, have naturally adapted to that plot, in perfect harmony. The harvest is manual and done in one go, with the fermentation of the entire blend of grapes made in a traditional cement vat. As a result of the natural balance given by the vine, fermentation takes place spontaneously, without any need to correct the must. So we take over our terroir - with a minimalist wine in our cellar. Vinification in a cement vat with pre- and post-fermentative maceration. Aging for 18 months in oak barrels. It presents an opaque red color, aroma of red fruits with spicy notes. Full-bodied, fresh and elegant with a long and persistent finish. Contains sulfites.
Portal Colheita White
8,49 €
Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel vats, at a controlled temperature of 14-16ºC. After fermentation, the wine is kept in stainless steel vats in contact with the fine lees until bottling, in order to maintain its freshness and gain complexity. This wine was carefully prepared using the best fermentation techniques and remained in contact with fine lees during the long stage, in order to guarantee greater complexity and richness. Citrine and bright in color, it presents a very elegant and exquisite aroma of apricot and grapefruit, with an enveloping mineral sensation. Very balanced in the mouth, with good texture and acidity giving a unique freshness at the end of the mouth. Very good aptitude and gastronomic versatility.

Quinta do Portal Tinta Barroca Red
21,36 €
Manual harvest. Transport of grapes in boxes. Alcoholic fermentation: Maceration in stainless steel tanks at a temperature between 26ºC and 28ºC. Very short stage in used French oak casks. A grape variety usually destined for Port Wines or for Douros by lot. Usually it produces less complex wines, and is only useful for batching. It is rarely bottled on its own because it has no structure capable of withstanding aging in the bottle. Relieve an intense fruity, in the mouth press for harmony. Very rounded, voluminous tannins and a well-marked, fresh and powerful aftertaste. A fantastic red, able to break prejudices. Contains Sulfites.
