Série Ímpar Retorto White

The Ímpar series is the result of a challenge made to the Sogrape Vinhos oenology team to create different, special and unique wines. Wines with a personal nature, created from the inspiration of the oenologist. From very old vines, at 640 meters of altitude, the Ímpar Retorto Series is born. Coming from a small vineyard in the Serra de São Mamede in Portalegre, it is from its gnarled vines that its name comes from: Retorto. It is a wine balanced between fruit, natural acidity and the barrel where it aged. It is a wine that already has a lot of complexity, but with a natural ability to evolve further in the bottle. It presents a golden color, with slight greenish nuances. The aroma is intense and complex, with notes of white fruit, stone fruit, a slight carob, some rockiness and well-integrated oak notes. In the mouth it has good volume, vibrant acidity, again with notes of white fruits, carob and an evident stoniness, with a finish of great elegance and harmony. Contains sulfites.
