The wine Scala Coeli (whcih in Latin means “stairway to heaven”) owes its name to the Monastery of Santa Maria Scala Coeli. commonly known as Carthusian Monastery, where the Carhusian monks remain in silence and prayer. It results from the best vinifications of each year of less traditional grape varieties in the Alentejo, was produced for the first time, in the harvest of 2008. Contains Sulfites.

Manual harvesting in 15 kg boxes precedes a careful process of cooling the grapes to 5ºC, followed by crushing and meticulous skin maceration. A gentle pressing gives way to a long maceration of 8 days at 6ºC, with subsequent alcoholic fermentation. This nectar matures in second and third year French oak barrels for 10 months, remaining on the lees to intensify its character.
Conde Vimioso Reserva White seduces with an intense aroma, dominated by citrus and mineral notes, complemented by an elegant touch of spices. On the palate, it reveals itself to be complex, combining structure and acidity with mineral freshness, culminating in a prolonged finish of rare elegance. This wine is a true celebration of sophistication and tradition.

Manual harvest for 20kg boxes. The grapes were carefully selected on a sorting table and then destemmed. Fermentation carried out in a mill with indigenous yeasts. Finished with an aging of 24 months in barrels, 50% in new barrels, 50% in used French oak barrels (225L). Intense aroma of wild fruits and black fruit, balsamic notes and spice.
