Chryseia 2021 Red
Chryseia 2021 was produced from a rigorous selection of grapes from Quinta de Roriz and Quinta da Perdiz, properties of Prats & Symington. As in all previous editions of Chryseia, there was also the usual contribution from Roriz's neighboring vineyard, Quinta da Vila Velha, privately owned by Rupert Symington. It symbolizes the union of the noble Portuguese wine heritage with the no less rich Bordeaux oenological tradition.
Quinta da Romaneira Reserva Magnum Red
Fresh and elegant, this wine of intense but delicate tannins expresses the whole character of the Romaneira vineyards. It has soft notes of licorice, which come from the wild indigo plants that exist in Romaneira. On the palate reveals intense fruit and a wild character, marked by spices. Contains Sulfites.
Pacheca Vale de Abraão Red
A wine of deep color and very fruity in the nose, with notes of ripe black fruit well present. In the mouth it reveals fresh and concentrated with tannins and very well balanced chocolate notes. Long and persistent ending. It accompanies very well with cured cheeses of sheep and cow, kid or lamb and red meats. Contains Sulfites.

Grapes are harvested by hand into small boxes before being refrigerated and then pressed into a pneumatic press without destemming. Cold decanting, followed by fermentation in temperature-controlled French oak barrels and regular bottling up to one month before bottling. Aging 11 months in used French oak barrels, with regular bâtonnage and 6 months in bottle. It is a wine of extraordinary rarity, with incredible precision and definition, an expectation of longevity of 25 or more years, and immediately established itself as a cult white wine. Grapes harvested by hand for small boxes. Partial destemming, followed by crushing and pumping into stainless steel tanks. Temperature controlled fermentation, mild reassembly, maceration after one week. Malo-lactic fermentation in vat. Aging for 22 months in new French oak barrels. With a light profile, fragrant aroma and magnificent patine and texture, the Unique Red Concept has opened a new frontier on what can be expected from a Douro red. Contains Sulfites.
