Grapes harvested by hand, for boxes of 25 kg, at their ideal point of maturation; intended to have a vigorous maturation, leading to higher aromatic and polyphenolic concentrations. After gentle crushing and total destemming, the grapes are fermented in stainless steel vats and wine presses, thus allowing the quality constituents present in the films of very ripe grapes to pass smoothly into the wine. After malolactic fermentation, the wine aged in used 300 liter French oak barrels for approximately 12 months. Purple and very deep color, very complex and distinct aromas where the fruity and floral character predominates, characteristic of the grape variety, with notes of spicy notes coming from the wood. The grapes are picked by hand prior to destemming and there is an automated selection process. These are gently crushed before being transferred to the fermentation in the vats where they are inoculated with a specially selected yeast culture and fermented at 25 ° C. During fermentation, the wines are gently macerated with the ability to mature in the bottle. Post Scriptum DOC features a deep ruby color, appealing ripe plum scents. Bulky and well structured body. Quinta do Crasto Touriga Franca Red

The grapes, from the best plots of Touriga Franca at Quinta do Crasto, were transported in boxes of 22 kg capacity and subjected to rigorous sorting at the entrance to the cellar. After a complete destemming and a slight crushing, the must was transferred to fermentation vats in stainless steel with controlled temperature. At the end of the alcoholic fermentation, a soft pressing was carried out. Quinta do Crasto Touriga Franca 2016 aged in French oak barrels where it remained for 18 months. It has a deep violet color. On the nose, it impresses with its intensity and concentration of red fruit aromas in perfect harmony with soft floral notes. In the mouth tasting it presents an intense start, evolving into an elegant profile wine, with excellent volume of mouth and silky texture tannins, all very well integrated with notes of red fruits. It ends in perfect balance, with an extraordinary persistence and full of freshness. A wine that perfectly reflects the identity of the variety. Contains sulfites.

Located in Águeda, northeast of the Bairrada region, Quinta d'Aguieira features an incredible mosaic of micro-terroirs, painted over its 21 hectares. With the particularity that they originated in the riverbed, thousands of years ago, the soils of this farm are alluvial deposits and the subsoils of rolled pebbles, coarse sand and some clay. These soils, the starting point of everything and studied for years, showed us the best that could be extracted from them with the most adapted varieties. The best grapes picked by hand and selected, undergo a long maceration with temperature control. After a twelve-month aging in French oak barrels, bottling and aging in bottle followed for three years.
With a deep garnet color, Quinta D'Aguieira captivates by its aromatic intensity. The wild fruits and the fruit blend with the subtle notes of wood, enhanced by velvety tannins. Harmonious, elegant and complex, this wine is marked by its persistently long persistent finish, which makes us travel through time.
