Quinta de Lemos Dona Santana 2014 Red
13,40 €
Touriga Nacional, full and voluminous with the sweet and structured Tinta Roriz and the Jaen aroma complex, growing on slopes at an altitude between 350 and 400 meters. The vine is grown within an integrated protection program. Infestation control is accomplished through ground movement. Harvesting is done by hand, caste by caste, when the ideal ripening point is reached, usually between the second half of September and the first half of October. The harvest is collected in small boxes of 10 kg. These wines are obtained after fermentation at a controlled temperature in order to preserve all their aromatic elegance in large wooden barrels and stainless steel tanks for 20 days. The wine is produced by malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels and has a subsequent maturation period of 18 months to enhance its structure and complexity. Quinta de Lemos Dona Santana is a wine made from the four varieties of the Dão region, with notes of jelly and cocoa. Ripe, creamy and elegant dark fruits. Sweet and attractive finish. Contains Sulfites.
