This wine is the result of a meticulous vinification process that includes total destemming, prolonged and gentle skin maceration, and alcoholic fermentation in robotic lagares at 26ºC.
After fermentation, the wine matures for 12 months in new French oak barrels, developing an intense garnet color with violet hues. On the nose, it displays a rich aromatic complexity with notes of wild berries, rockrose, and various spices, complemented by a captivating smoky touch.
On the palate, the Grande Reserva is profound and distinctive, full-bodied, with round and silky tannins and excellent acidic balance that brings freshness, reflecting the true character of the Lower Corgo. Quinta de Arcossó White Riesling
11,99 €
Quinta de Arcossó White Riesling is a winemaking jewel born in the Arcossó region, Vidago, part of the Ribeira de Oura sub-region. This exceptional Riesling comes from a careful selection of grapes grown on a dedicated plot of 0.8 hectares, set in an 8-hectare vineyard planted in 2016. Located on a southeast slope at an altitude of 450 meters, this land benefits from a 35% slope and granite soil, perfect conditions for the development of superior quality grapes.
Harvested at the peak of ripeness, the grapes for this Riesling went through a meticulous process of alcoholic fermentation and aging in stainless steel vats, enriched with the "bâtonnage" technique during fermentation. After bottling, the wine matured in the bottle for eight months, culminating in a wine with a vibrant yellow color, with deep aromas of grapefruit and pear, and a dense, fresh palate that continues into a long-lasting finish, promising a unique and memorable taste experience.
