Maçanita Reserva Red
18,89 €
Discover Maçanita Reserva Red, a wine that is the result of a careful winemaking process, with grapes meticulously harvested by hand and transported in small boxes to preserve their integrity. In the cellar, a cold pre-maceration gives way to spontaneous fermentation, followed by a prolonged 26-day cuvaison. This wine matures mainly in neutral French oak barrels, complemented by aging in stainless steel tanks for 18 months, ensuring perfect harmony between fruit and structure.
Presenting a dark violet color, Maçanita Reserva Red seduces with a rich aroma of red fruits and softly rounded tannins, culminating in an intense and long-lasting aftertaste. This wine is the ideal choice to accompany a wide range of dishes, from white to red meat, adapting perfectly to both traditional recipes and modern kitchen innovations. A true celebration of elegance and flavor.
QUINTA DAS MAIAS White
7,53 €
MAIAS wine comes from the Quinta das Maias property, in organic farming, which is located at about 600 meters of altitude in the foothills of Serra da Estrela. The name derives from the yellow broom that covers the slopes of the mountain and here they are called «Mayas» because they bloom in the month of May.
The wines are characterized by the freshness of grapes from vines planted at altitude and by sandy granite-based soils.
This woodless white wine is dominated by the Malvasia Fina and Encruzado grape varieties, which contributes to the floral and plum notes with fresh and elegant aromas.
Filipa Pato Nossa Missão Red
167,48 €
Missão, is a small centennial vineyard of 0.57 hectares with pre-phylloxeric vines of over 100 years. Production is limited to only 500 bottles and 30 magnums. It is located on a gentle slope with east orientation, the soil is of limestone origin from the Lower Jurassic era, with reddish clay. The cultivation and harvesting are totally manual and the sorting of the grapes is done in the vineyard itself. A part of the grapes are destemmed, and the percentage of whole grapes depends on the conditions of each harvest. Fermentation takes place slowly for about 3 weeks, with indigenous yeasts, the flow is smooth and long. After alcoholic fermentation, the wine drains by gravity and the masses are pressed. The whole fills only a traditional 500 liter kite where it stays for 18 months in our basement. The "Missão" is a remarkable wine for its pure expression of Berry. While young, the aromas resemble violet and strawberry. After 7-9 years, the aromas become more complex with a lot of energy and concentration. The tannins, although very alive, are soft, lively acidity, long finish, irreverent and elegant. It is a wine with long aging potential. Contains Sulfites.
