Herdade do Peso Revelado Red
Vinified from grapes from selected plots. After maturation tests, the grapes were harvested at their optimum ripeness point. After total stemming and gentle crushing, maceration and fermentation took place, with pumping over in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature of 28ºC, for around 12 days. We thus obtained intense, elegant wines with an expression of the place. After malolactic fermentation, the wines aged in French oak barrels for around 12 months. It was subjected to light filtration before bottling. In order to preserve its quality, it was bottled without cold stabilization treatment, which may cause deposits to form during aging in the bottle. Bright red color. Attractive aroma with notes of currant, black plum and mustard seeds. In the mouth it is fresh, very complete and elegant. It has present and fine tannins, very well integrated. Contains sulfites.
Quinta de CIdrô Rufete Red
The Rufete variety reveals nobility for its ability to produce exotic reds with great potential for evolution in the bottle. A round wine with soft tannins, full bodied but at the same time elegant, with aromas of black and red fruit. The wines of caste Rufete are light in comparison to the typical Douros, however, they demonstrate a unique personality ending with a very long end of mouth. The low temperature makes it very versatile service, aiding all its aromatic exposure. Contains Sulfites.
Quinta dos Carvalhais Especial White
Quinta dos Carvalhais Branco Especial is a sublime wine, which recovers and elevates it to a new one of old Dão traditions, such as the late bottling of white wines aged in wood. Composed of a batch of wines from the best harvests, aged in oak barrels on the property for 10 years, where grape varieties such as Encruzado, Gouveio and Semillon are combined, resulting in a very complex wine in which aromas of gunpowder, truffles and some honey stand out. and dried fruits. It has a very well integrated acidity, an extraordinary volume and an elegant finish, hard to forget. It is a wine that requires calm and dedication, to taste the best that Dão has to offer.
