Adega Mayor Baga Red is a testament to winemaking dedication and art. The result of manual harvesting and a meticulous selection of bunches, the grapes are de-stemmed and fermented at a controlled temperature in 5000 L French oak vats, where they also mature for 18 months. Manual harvest for 15 kg boxes. 4 days of pre-fementative maceration followed by alcoholic fermentation for 10 days at 24ºC. In French oak barrels of 228 liters for 11 months. Very appealing ruby color. Aromas of black plum, cassis, cherry with discreet nuances of violet and balsamic. Subtly notes of vanilla and spices emerge. It is captivating for its silky texture while remaining vibrant and firm. The sensation of freshness and elegance accompanies a long saline finish. Contains sulfites.

Granitic soils, altitude, sustainable farming practices and zero herbicides are just the beginning of this unique rosé wine. In Vila Nova de Tazem (Serra da Estrela sub-region) a 28-year-old vine of 100% hand-harvested Tinta Roriz grows. The commitment since 2020 to an option for organic farming in all our vineyards. The tear must ferments with indigenous yeasts in used 225 L French oak barrels. The wine ages for 11 months “sur lie” without batonnage and another 8 months in stainless steel. Naturally stabilized, it may show turbidity or deposit. A rosé wine with a more concentrated color, onion skin with hints of copper. Delicate aromas of red fruits and fermentation, like brioche. In the mouth, it has remarkable acidity and minerality, with touches of spices, especially black pepper. It has a dense yet elegant texture, quite salivating at the end as it calls for food. Extremely gastronomic. Contains sulfites.

After harvest, the grapes are collected in the cellar and sent to the cold rooms, where the temperature is controlled up to 10oC for 12 hours. The bunches are then stalked and the grapes broken. Partially fermented in frustoconical stainless steel tanks and French oak vats. After the alcoholic and malolactic fermentation, the stage partially runs for 7 months in French oak barrels of the Seguin Moreau brand (medium - fine grain), until bottling. The bottle stage occurs for at least 12 months. Contains Sulfites.
