Caves São João Reserva Particular 1959 Red
213,57 €
Founded in 1920 by the brothers José, Manuel and Albano Costa, Caves São João is a family business that was originally dedicated to the marketing of fine Douro wines and liqueurs. Today, the oldest family-run wine company still operating in the municipality of Anadia, in the 1930s, it passed the ban on the production of Porto wines outside Vila Nova de Gaia, to sell Bairrada table wines. At the end of the 50’s, one of the most famous wine brands in the Bairrada region – the “Frei João” – was born and, a little later, the “Porta dos Cavaleiros” brand from the Dão region. Contains Sulfites.

Discover the charm of Rede Reserva White, a wine with a fruity and fresh aroma that celebrates citrus notes such as lemon and tangerine, complemented by subtle touches of tropical fruits such as mango and banana, all wrapped in a light smoky essence. Its citrine color with greenish tones reveals its unique quality.
This wine undergoes a partial aging in wood and a few months in the bottle to enhance its distinctive character. The production process includes total stemming, gentle pneumatic pressing in an inert atmosphere and alcoholic fermentation at 15ºC, resulting in a full and creamy texture, but at the same time light and fresh, making it irresistibly attractive.
Perfect as an aperitif or to pair with dishes such as seafood rice, smoked fish, fatty or baked fish, grilled white meats and goat cheese, Rede Reserva White elevates any gastronomic experience.
