João Portugal Ramos Vinha do Lado Red is an authentic expression of winemaking excellence, the result of a careful and traditional winemaking process. The grapes, meticulously de-stemmed and manually selected, are subjected to the noble practice of foot treading in marble presses. This ancestral stage is followed by alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel vats, complemented by a 12-day post-fermentation maceration that extracts the depth of flavors.
Its maturation is carried out in half barrels of French and Hungarian oak, for first and second use, for a period of 12 months, ensuring the perfect fusion between fruit and wood, and giving the wine a rich and complex structure.
This wine shines with its intense color and seduces with opulent aromas of jam, ripe fruit, truffles and vanilla, which herald the richness of flavors to be discovered. In the mouth, the perfect balance is achieved with good acidity and soft but firm tannins, culminating in a prolonged finish that leaves a lasting impression.

Manual harvest. Manual choice of curls. Destemming without crushing the berries. The two varieties fermented together in used 500L French oak barrels where they were subjected to gentle pigeages. After an aging period of 19 months in used 500L barrels, we carry out a light gluing and subsequent bottling. The wine rested for 1 year before being marketed. Open grenat color, fragrant, exuberant aroma, a combination of aromas of red fruits and spices. Smooth attack, very silky tannins, very light with excellent freshness. Elegant. It has a remarkable balance. It ends with its aromatic side. Contains sulfites.

Manual harvest in 15 kg boxes. After a pre-fermentation maceration at low temperatures, the grapes are pressed and the must clarified. Selection of the grape must and cooling at low temperatures for 24h. Fermentation only in stainless steel vats, with temperatures rounding the 15ºC for 20 days. 50% of the wine fermented in new French oak barrels for 4 months. Clear color, with green shades, this wine shows the authenticity of the grape variety Encruzado in a fresh and elegant way. Pear and white flower notes on the nose. With medium body on the palate, and good structure due to the barrel toast, balanced by the crispy acidity and the citric character. Contains Sulfites.
