Coelheiros Chardonnay White
The grapes were manually harvested into 25kg boxes and immediately transported to the cellar where they were stored in the cold chamber for 24 hours. This was followed by grape selection and pneumatic pressing and decanting. The alcoholic fermentation started in a stainless steel tank with selected yeasts. After fermentation starts, the must was transferred to 500L barrels. The wine was kept in contact with fine lees. Aging for 8 months in barrels with battonage. The nose shows white fruit involved in light, very discreet smoky notes. The palate is unctuous, balanced and with a good acidity that gives it a fresh and prolonged finish. Contains sulfites.

Quinta dos Carvalhais Branco Especial is a sublime wine, which recovers and elevates it to a new one of old Dão traditions, such as the late bottling of white wines aged in wood. Composed of a batch of wines from the best harvests, aged in oak barrels on the property for 10 years, where grape varieties such as Encruzado, Gouveio and Semillon are combined, resulting in a very complex wine in which aromas of gunpowder, truffles and some honey stand out. and dried fruits. It has a very well integrated acidity, an extraordinary volume and an elegant finish, hard to forget. It is a wine that requires calm and dedication, to taste the best that Dão has to offer. Covela Reserva White
Manual harvesting, organized by vineyard parcels to ensure harvesting at the right time. Transport of grapes in small boxes to avoid crushing. Manual selection of curls. Cold skin maceration. Total destemming followed by gentle pressing. Spontaneous fermentation in oak casks from the Austrian and French forests. Stage on the total slurry, with periodic batonnage, without stabilization, nor filtration. Bright citrus color. Aroma expressive,? Oral with notes of tropical fruits and good intensity.
