After partial destemming, the wine fermented in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature. After this process, the wine was transferred to French oak barrels, where it remained for 24 months before being bottled. Casa Ferreirinha Touriga-Feminino is a red wine of great aromatic range, presenting notes of wild red fruits, notes of macerated black fruits, balsamic notes, spices and subtle notes of wood. It is an extraordinarily elegant red, full of volume and concentration, with imposing and vibrant tannins and elegant acidity. Contains sulfites.

100% Tinta Carvalha. Tinta Carvalha is a grape variety from the old Alentejo strain, 1/2 sister to Castelão and Moreto and daughter of the crossing of the Sarigo x Alfrocheiro Preto grape varieties. The grapes, on granite soils and under a certified integrated protection regime, are selected on a sorting table, 30% of the whole bunch and 70% destemmed, falling by gravity into the vat. Spontaneous fermentation and 40-day maceration in film, followed by a 12-month aging in stainless steel vats. Very open, ruby color, intense fresh nose, notes of bitter red fruit, pomegranate notes of graphite. Very fine, elegant tense attack with lots of depth and tension. A red that shows that the Alentejo can be something else.
Adega de Borba Reserva 3x Red

With grapes from the most typical Alentejo grape varieties produced in the sub-region of Borba, the label Cortiça wine was produced, a true ex-libris from the Adega de Borba. Coming from old vines, the grapes had a strict control in the evolution of the maturation, having been harvested in small quantities. In the Cellar, after the destemming and soft crushing of the grape, the alcoholic fermentation began, which lasted for about 10-15 days with the temperature controlled at 24ºC, for greater extraction of the aromas and fruity flavors of the grape. In order to increase the polyphenolic complexity, the tannins and the structure of the wine, it remained in the vat in a post-fermentative maceration process. The malolactic fermentation occurred later in stainless steel containers. To enhance and elevate its organoleptic characteristics, the wine aged 12 months in 3rd and 4th year barrels, French oak and exotic wood barrels. followed by a six-month bottling stage in the basement. Aroma fine and elegant, suggesting black fruits, compote and white chocolate. Contains Sulfites.

Hand-picked grapes, reception with total destemming and crushing immediately. Fermentation between 16 - 17ºC for a period of about 20 days with indigenous yeasts. Aging for 4 months in stainless steel vats until bottling. Citrus fruit and minerality, grapefruit, notes of nettles and white flowers, very fresh and light in the mouth, revealing the altitude of the vines. The soul of this wine lies in the unique combination of Síria and Fonte Cal grapes from old vines planted in granite and schist soils with quartz veins, in the hydrographic basin of the Douro River at an average altitude of 700 meters. Vineyards installed in red soils derived from brown or crystalline limestones, with red shale patches, benefiting from a Mediterranean climate with high thermal amplitudes and hot and dry summers. After the green interventions required during the growing cycle, the grapes are harvested by hand and transported to the cellar in small boxes. Peach, lemon and mango aromas with mineral notes.
