The Macallan Sherry Oak 30 Years Old, 2022
The Macallan Sherry Oak 30 Years Old is an exceptionally aged single malt, matured exclusively in European oak barrels previously seasoned with Jerez de la Frontera sherry. It has a natural dark mahogany hue and reveals a complex nose with caramelized figs, dates, caramelized pineapple and chocolate orange. On the palate, fruitcake, candied ginger and spices stand out, leading to a long, enveloping finish with notes of toasted oak, warm spices and orange essence.

The bouquet is brilliant. Opening with barley sugar and a touch of mint before leading to the most wonderful notes of freshly picked wild flowers; buttercup, daisy, meadowsweet, myrtle, primrose and cherry blossom. The cleansing of the spirit is remarkable. As seconds pass, more aromas rise from the glass, small spindrift and sea rose zephyrs reminding you that this drink is matured exclusively by the sea. After about four or five minutes and with the addition of a little water, caramelized fruits come on the scene; drops of lemon and honey, tangerine and tablet.
Knockando 15 Anos
The pale gold color of the Knockando is entirely natural. It is derived only from the hoofs in which it has matured - barrels held together without nails or glue. No coloring is added - it is for this reason that the color depth in successive traffic jams may vary. Only natural ingredients are used - barley malt, yeast and crystalline water from the source of Cardnach, which lies in the hills above the distillery. The amount of peat used in the malting of the barley is carefully controlled so as not to unbalance the taste of the final product, and the proportion of sherry hulls used is restricted so as not to become too intense in the flavor of the whiskey.
