Very aromatic in the modern style of seasoned sherry barrels. Red berries, roasted banana, notes of sawdust and vanilla. Some candied orange peels and raisins and light leather notes. In the mouth, a good dose of sherry, raisins and oranges. Many toasted wood spices too: pepper, ginger, nutmeg, slightly oppressive, perhaps including a slightly bitter touch. Roasted nuts and notes of gingerbread. Medium finish, hot spices, but also cocoa and more fruity notes now.

A deliciously creamy single-grain Scotch whiskey, matured for 20 years before bottling. Two decades have given this one plenty of time for its flavor profile to develop all those flavorful grainy notes, so expect notes of caramel, honey and cooked fruit. Aromas of orange peel, caramelized nuts, slightly chocolatey, dry oak heat. Palate with notes of icing sugar, anise, honeycomb, baked apple. Aftertaste with a soft touch of oak and lasting caramel.

Old Pulteney 25 Anos
For a quarter of a century, casks of this rare expression of Old Pulteney Single Malt Scotch Whisky breathed the invigorating sea air of the Caithness coast. Sheltered from a fast-changing world by the darkened calm of a distillery warehouse, the spirit mellowed at its own steady pace, echoing the reassuring rhythm of its hometown port. Aged firstly in American oak, its spicy sweetness was later granted depth and colour by casks of Spanish oak. Elegant and charismatic, this wonderful whisky embodies both Wick’s spirit of endurance and Pulteney Distillery’s devotion to its craft.

Created from a selected small batch of hand-selected casks at the Pulteney Distillery, this elegant Vintage single malt captures and celebrates a moment in Old Pulteney's history. Polished copper color, elegant and energetic aroma with an intense sweetness of melted caramel and refreshing and spicy tones. This is followed by creamy vanilla and oily lemon, refined by a fragrant and fresh note of the sea air. Firm and intense. Flavors of honey and crème brûlée are contrasted by crunchy notes of citrus, coconut and green apples. Complexity builds on the palate and culminates in a spicy, effervescent finish of caramel and freshly ground spices.

The Macallan Rare Cask
The Macallan Rare Cask features two of Macallan's greatest and most striking qualities - oak barrels seasoned with sherry and natural color. Ruby red color with soft notes of opulent vanilla and raisins give way to a sweet apple, lemon and orange set. All balanced by a spicy quartet of ginger root, cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove. This spicy foursome is unshakable. The oak resonates, timeless, polished and rich. Vanilla and chocolate lead the finish along with a slight citrus touch.

The Macallan Sherry Oak 18 Years Old forms part of our Sherry Oak range which features a series of single malt whiskies matured exclusively in hand-picked sherry seasoned oak casks from Jerez for richness and complexity. The bouquet is brilliant. Opening with barley sugar and a touch of mint before leading to the most wonderful notes of freshly picked wild flowers; buttercup, daisy, meadowsweet, myrtle, primrose and cherry blossom. The cleansing of the spirit is remarkable. As seconds pass, more aromas rise from the glass, small spindrift and sea rose zephyrs reminding you that this drink is matured exclusively by the sea. After about four or five minutes and with the addition of a little water, caramelized fruits come on the scene; drops of lemon and honey, tangerine and tablet.

Ballechin 10 Anos
This is the core expression of 10 year old Ballechin single malt Scotch whisky, which is heavily peated whisky from Edradour. It has been named for the silent Ballechin distillery near the Edradour distillery. Releases under the Ballechin name from Edradour were previously presented as part of The Discovery Series, many of which were matured in different types of casks, including Sherry, bourbon and a selection of wine casks. This 10 year old expression, however, comes from a combination of ex-Oloroso Sherry and ex-bourbon casks.
