Aberlour offers a new version of its 10 year old building called “Reserva Florestal”. Nikka Coffey Grain
Coffey Grain is an original single grain whiskey, mostly distilled from corn, in a Coffey still. It becomes even more unique in the sense that it has mostly maize as in the past, while most modern whiskeys are derived from wheat. The corn imparts to the whiskey with a rich and rounded texture, and intense aromas. This grain whiskey is today an essential component of the Nikka blends. The distillation process is continuous, whereas in the stills used for the production of Single Malts they require two separate distillations. Nikka owns two Coffey stills at her Miyagikyo distillery for the production of her grain whiskeys. Imported from Scotland in 1963, these old stills produce a very round whiskey with a distinctive character that defines the signature Nikka blends. Nice golden color. Nose fresh and seductive, reveals ripe pear, cherry and exotic fruit aromas. Citrus notes of grapefruit and lemon emerge, slowly giving way to the subtler floral aromas. After breathing, the aromas of pastries, coconut and bourboun-vanilla, with notes of mint and a hint of musk, stand out. Juicy and pleasant palate, what promises in the nose lies on the palate. Intense ripe fruit with note of rum, banana and caramel. Complexity develops in the notes of licorice and star anise. Over time develops ripe pear aromas and the end of the mouth results in a bittersweet combination with the bourbon-vanilla to impart a slight acidity.

Jack Daniel’s Red Dog Saloon
49,69 €
This special edition marks the 125th anniversary when Mr. Jack Daniel opened the doors of his Red Dog SaloonTM. Previously situated in Lynchburg Town Square, all that remains of the Red Dog SaloonTM are myths and legends - so far. The limited edition Red Dog SaloonTM celebrates the days when we could buy a drink of Jack Whiskey's soft whiskey in the town where it was made. Like every drop of Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey, this limited edition is distilled in Lynchburg, just as it was when Mr. Jack opened his parlor back in 1892. And if the Red Dog Saloon was similar to his sister's watering hole, White Rabbit SaloonTM, the house was full of music, comradeship and conversation.
Tullibardine 228 Burgundy Finish
Artist Collective Caol Ila 9 Anos 2009
107,33 €
In 2002, behind the immense success of Lagavulin 16 years old (launched 15 years earlier), three official traffic jams by Caol Ila (12 years old, 18 years old and Cask Strength) were launched simultaneously across Europe. Until then, single malt was popular mainly with independent bottlers. The nose reveals a much darker Caol Ila than we are used to. Allowed to breathe, crystallized lemon and fresh fruit (pears) appear alongside intense smoke and tar. Gradually, it becomes medicinal and mineral (slate). The acute attack offers the same marine peat. On the middle palate, aromatic plants (sage), almond milk and malted barley come together in perfect harmony. The rich finish is chocolate and vanilla. Mouth-watering, rich (eclair, pudding) and herbs (chamomile).
Glenmorangie The Extremely Rare 18 Anos
Spent 15 years ripening in American white oak barrels, approximately 30% is transferred to Spanish Oloroso barrels to spend another three years ripening. Then, when both elements are 18 years old, they blend again to create a whiskey with a rich bouquet and a full, rounded flavor. It has a rich, round and sweet aroma with dried fruits and a complex floral fragrance. The taste is balanced between honey, malt and flowery aromas. Dates and figs emerge in the background with a hint of wood smoke. The finish is long and attractive, with the sweetness of nuts and the subtle dryness of the nutty.
