Each bottle of Plantation Sealander Rum carries the hallmarks of such an expedition—bold, brave, and innovative. A tradition that small entrepreneurial family businesses have pursued for generations, Alexandre and the Plantation Rum team have ventured across the vast oceans of the world. Originating from Barbados, Mauritius, and the Fiji Islands, this rum is crafted from molasses and cane juice, fermented from 3 days to 3 weeks, and distilled in pot and column stills. It ages for several years in Bourbon barrels in the tropics before spending an additional year in Ferrand casks in Europe, gaining unique complexity. On the nose, it opens gently and richly with notes of pear, quince jelly, and gooseberry, enhanced by hints of smoky molasses. The palate is rich and delicate with flavors of clover honey, licorice, beeswax, vanilla fudge, and prune. The finish is long and lingering, with notes of cooked apple, tonka bean, and dried banana—a true celebration of craftsmanship and the adventurous spirit.

Jamaica 2007 produced at the legendary Clarendon Distillery and enhanced by our double aging technique. This unique expression is aged for 13 years in the tropical climate of Jamaica and matured for a further 2 years in Ferrand French oak barrels in southwest France. Rich fruity profile with aromas of melon, ripe guava and delicate spicy notes.

Powerful flavor, however with a delicate citrus note, with spices and notes of wood. Also discovered is ripe orange peel, vanilla, nutmeg, hot coffee and cocoa notes.

El Ron Prohibido Silver has aromas of rose, anise, apple, raisins, plum, mint, vanilla, olive and some citrus notes, especially orange. Its taste is the perfect balance between the bitterness of lemon and the sweetness of sugar cane. Smooth finish with nuances of mint, nuts and lemon.
