Moscatel João Pires 10 Years Old is a wine of excellence, the result of a meticulous winemaking process. Fermentation is stopped with the addition of neutral spirit, allowing the wine to remain in skin maceration for 5 months. This process gives Moscatel João Pires 10 Years Old an incomparable complexity and richness of flavors. After maceration, the wine is bled and blended with the press wine, followed by aging that varies between 10 and 15 years in used oak barrels. This aging period is fundamental for the development of the characteristic aromas and flavors of Moscatel João Pires 10 Years Old.
When served at the ideal temperature of 16ºC, Moscatel João Pires 10 Years Old is the perfect accompaniment to desserts. Its versatility also allows it to be enjoyed as an aperitif, when served at a temperature of 10ºC.

The Favaios 10 Anos is a lot wine in which only the best Moscatel harvests are used for its constitution. In the years when nature allows conditions for the caste Moscatel express itself in all its splendor are made some fermentations with a careful selection of grapes. The fermentation takes about three days with intense skin maceration and temperature controlled to 15-16 ° C. The wine spirit is then added to the grapes and must stopped fermenting in order to obtain a wine with high alcohol content and residual sugar. Maceration has already in the presence of brandy it is kept for another 5-6 days always at low temperature. After pressing, the wine begins an aging process in wooden ferries for several years, improving the integration of the brandy with the wine and improving its bouquet. During the aging in wood are chosen the wines that will constitute the lot of Favaios 10 Years, mixing older harvests with younger ones, making the wine richer, more intense and more complex. In Favaios 10 Years, the most typical aromas of the Moscatel variety are felt like the orange peel and the floral ones like the color of orange, linden and roses. At the same time the most typical aromas of aging such as nuts, roasted and honey are evident. In the taste the wine is full of intensity, with excellent acidity that gives it unctuous and long balance. Contains sulfites.
