Discover the Moscatel Portal Harvest 2011, an exceptional wine that promises to delight discerning wine enthusiasts. With an alcoholic fermentation process in closed vats and troughs at temperatures between 20-22ºC, this moscatel is meticulously cared for from the initial stages of winemaking. Aged for a minimum of seven years in oak barrels in the style of old Tawnies, the Moscatel Portal Colheita 2011 features a distinctive golden color. Its intense aromas of green pear and apple, enhanced by notes of orange peel and a slight caramel touch, offer a unique elegance to the palate. Perfect as a dessert wine, it should be served chilled. It pairs wonderfully with sweets, especially with frozen desserts at 10-11ºC or egg-based sweets at 12-13ºC. An ideal match for a Foie starter, this moscatel superbly balances sweetness and acidity, with a fresh, citrus profile that contrasts with the complexity of wines aged in old wood.

To celebrate the new century and the new millennium, Trilogia was created, a rare and special edition, the result of the combination of three great vintages of the 20th century, chosen by winemaker Domingos Soares Franco: 1900, 1934 and 1965. The Trilogia is limited to 13,926 bottles that were filled and placed on the market in October 1999. Enjoy in good company and on a special occasion. Following the tradition started by José Maria da Fonseca in the last century, fermentation is stopped with the addition of brandy. Skin contact lasts 5 months. In March, after the harvest, the masses are pressed and the resulting wine is then blended with the teardrop wine. The crops that make up this wine were aged in used oak barrels. Intense topaz color, complex and intense aroma with notes of dried fruits (almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts and honey). Complex, sweet and very prolonged palate. Perfect combination of aroma and taste, typical of a Setúbal with these characteristics. Contains sulfites.

Fermentation is interrupted with the addition of wine spirit, having a maceration of 3 months. Aging in hardwood casks or barrels. No bottle stage as it does not evolve after bottling. Gold color. Aroma of orange, apricot, caramel. Palate very fruity, good acidity of the fruit. Very long finish. Contains sulfites.

At the beginning of the 20th century, Quinta do Piloto reserved 10 small 50 liter barrels for itself, which it filled with the finest muscat from its properties. Since then, this muscat has been kept in the shadow of the Quinta do Piloto winery, reserved only for the family. Year after year, four generations followed the ritual of filling each barrel with the best of each harvest. This is how this precious and rare muscat was born, which proves a century of dedication by a historic family in Palmela. Contains sulfites.
