Quinta do Vesúvio Vintage 2019 com caixa Ruby
Typical aromas of blackcurrant and rosemary with notes of fennel, whose fragrance is often carried by the breeze in the vineyards of Vesuvius. In the mouth, the wine provides rich black fruit flavors, opulent and silky, yet with substantial volume and powerful structure. Very polished tannins provide a long and luxurious aftertaste. Bottled in May 2021. Contains sulphites.
Maria Izabel White
The maturation phase occurred later, due to lack of water in the soil and heat. The harvested grapes rested for 24 hours in a refrigerated container at 8º C in order to protect the integrity of the bunches. After rigorous selection in the cellar, the grapes were pressed with the entire bunch, at low pressure. Part of the batch was fermented and aged in stainless steel vats for 8 months, and the rest in French oak barrels. Pale yellow in color, it has a fresh and complex aroma. Mineral character, which gives it freshness, together with citrus and floral notes, with a slight aroma of smoke. Frank in the mouth is mineral, enveloping with acidity tempered by the light greasiness provided by the partial malolactic produced in barrels. Contains sulfites.
Infantes White
Manual harvest for 12kg boxes. Cooling of the grapes in a cold room for 24 hours to 10ºC. Manual selection on a vibrating sorting table, followed by destemming and crushing. Vacuum pressing, followed by cold decantation for 48h. Fermentation of each variety individually in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature, for 20 days. Greenish hue, clear and bright. Very fine in the aroma, with good citrus fruit notes and a light tropical note. Creamy mouthfeel, marked by expressive fruit and supported by refreshing acidity. Contains sulfites.
Farrapo Vinho de Talha White
Genuine Talha wine production. This ancestral production technique is still evident in Vila de Frades today. Full-bodied wine, full of character and with a soft texture. Wine rich in intense aromas and with the presence of a pleasant micro-oxidation from the carving and notes of apricot. It proves to be quite balanced between freshness and robustness.
Cortes do Reguengo White
Manual harvest, transport in 14kg boxes. Grapes are cooled in a cold chamber for 24 hours to 10ºC. Followed by sorting on a sorting table, destemming, pressing and cold static decanting. Fermentation in 500L barrels and aging for nine months. Rich and complex aroma, fruity with light floral notes, well integrated with the smoke from the barrel. In the mouth it is fruity, balanced, with a very present acidity and a long and fresh finish. Contains sulfites.
Convés White
Mechanical harvest overnight. De-stem and light crushing, followed by thermal shock to 10ºC through a mass exchanger. Vacuum pressing, followed by cold decantation for 48h. Fermentation of each variety individually in stainless steel tanks with controlled temperature. Citrus color with greenish hints. Aroma of tropical fruit, fresh and floral. In the mouth it is fruity, has good acidity and a refreshing finish. Contains sulfites.
Quinta do Vallado Vintage 2019 Ruby
The grapes (50% with stems) are fermented for four days in "lagares" with periodic foot treading. Aged for 20 months in stainless steel vats. Deep and strong nose, with intense aromas of dark fruits. Full-bodied flavor with ripe and soft tannins. Excellent structure and complexity, with a very long finish. Contains sulfites.
Encoberta Red
Encoberta is the name of a small town in Penalva do Castelo (Castendo sub-region), where this wine was made with its own grapes. Vineyards aged 28 years at an altitude of 460 m with granite and clay soils are being converted to organic certification since 2020. It ferments with indigenous yeasts in French oak vats and with 35% whole bunch followed by 30 days of cuvaison. Aged for 15 months in used French oak barrels and vats. Naturally stabilized. It is a very characteristic red from Dão, from Penalva do Castelo. A little more fruity, denser and more textured than Serra da Estrela wines, black fruit and spicy notes also in the mouth. Dry, some earthy character, and a slightly tannic finish. Contains sulfites.
Textura da Estrela Rose
Granitic soils, altitude, sustainable farming practices and zero herbicides are just the beginning of this unique rosé wine. In Vila Nova de Tazem (Serra da Estrela sub-region) a 28-year-old vine of 100% hand-harvested Tinta Roriz grows. The commitment since 2020 to an option for organic farming in all our vineyards. The tear must ferments with indigenous yeasts in used 225 L French oak barrels. The wine ages for 11 months “sur lie” without batonnage and another 8 months in stainless steel. Naturally stabilized, it may show turbidity or deposit. A rosé wine with a more concentrated color, onion skin with hints of copper. Delicate aromas of red fruits and fermentation, like brioche. In the mouth, it has remarkable acidity and minerality, with touches of spices, especially black pepper. It has a dense yet elegant texture, quite salivating at the end as it calls for food. Extremely gastronomic. Contains sulfites.
Quinta dos Távoras Reserva Red
Transport in boxes of 20 kg, destemming with crushing, pre-fermentative maceration for 24 hours, inoculation followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks below 24ºC. Stage in French oak barrels where it remains for 8 months. Aroma concentrate, but without losing freshness and dry vegetable side well attractive. Present in the mouth and notes of sweet fruit. Contains Sulfites.
Taboadella Grande Villae Red
Manual harvest. 100% destemmed by vibration. Aged for 12 months in a new 500 liter French oak barrel. The Grande Villae red is a heritage wine, with a strong and generous personality, which tells us about the Taboadella vineyard that has always produced reds with a complex intensity and a very elegant structure. But it is also a wine of the future that surprises by its energy, amplified by its very present minerality and where in each stroke we find the cry of the territory, the pure expression of granite, the subtle elegance of the varieties cultivated in highlands and with persistence, respects the memory your place. Taboadella Grande Villae White
Manual harvest and aging for 12 months in a new 500 liter French oak barrel. With an almost indescribable aromatic complexity, it is a great white that shows itself firm, with a silky texture and very fine linearity. With a high concentration, it is a magnificent wine with a vibrant acidity that only Dão can offer, ending long, persistent and very precise. Contains sulfites.
