Chryseia 3L Red
Chryseia was produced from the best grapes extracted from the two vineyards of the Douro Valley of Prats & Symington, Quinta de Roriz and Quinta da Perdiz. Another property, Quinta da Vila Velha, which is privately owned by a member of the Symington family, has also contributed some of its finest grapes, as it has in all Chryseia harvests. It was aged in French oak barrels of 400 Liters for 15 months. The grapes were harvested in excellent condition, resulting in a very fine Chryseia. Contains Sulfites.

Boina White
Nuno Aguiar and António Olazabal Ferreira launched this wine called Beret, with an original and appealing label. It is the first in a series of wines that the duo began to produce in Douro and Trás-os-Montes, under the Portugal Boutique Winery project. A white made with the varieties Viosinho, Rabigato and Códega de Larinho, with notes of citrus and white flowers. In the mouth it is very fresh, balanced and with a very elegant finish.

Manual harvest, during the month of September. The grapes were received at the winery, in the special line, with total destemming and manual selection of bunches and later “berry by berry” by an optical sorting machine. Vinification was carried out in a press, with pre-fermentation maceration and temperature control. No wooden stage. This wine shows an intense garnet color and good aromatic complexity, with lots of ripe fruit. It is a wine structured on the palate, with great smoothness and persistence. Very balanced. The grapes were received at the winery, in the special line, with total destemming and manual selection of bunches and later “berry by berry” by an optical sorting machine. Fermentation was carried out in a press, with pre-fermentation maceration and temperature control. Internship for 18 months. This wine shows a violet color and a smooth and fruity aromatic profile. It is a complex wine on the palate, deep but delicate. The aromas of ripe fruit that can be felt in the nose also appear with subtlety in the mouth and linger at the end of the tasting. Made mainly from the flower Macabeo wort, Xarel lo and Parellada harvested in our properties of Espiells, Can Massana and La Cuscona. Cava endowed with a bright and attractive pale golden color. It is tiny and abundant bubbles, rising forming numerous rosaries and a stable crown. Deep, intense and elegant, it evokes initially notes of ripe white fruits. Little by little, its complexity grows and the aromas of a long aging appear. Toasted bread and a certain citrus background to complete its distinction with the aroma. The creaminess of the foam is perfectly integrated in the palate, making its passage through the mouth. It is both fresh, ample and suggestive. From Dão, Casa da Passarella Enxertia Alfrocheiro arises from the heterogeneity of our encepting. Every year they are different in the soil-climatic conditions. From this differentiation we decided to create a wine based on the best behavior of the grape variety in the wine year. Based on this philosophy, we feel free to choose the best reflected caste each year. We inaugurated this reference with the Alfrocheiro of the year 2011. The fermentation took place in a vat of spontaneous fermentation. Stage of 12 months in barrel and 18 months in bottle. The grapes, previously destemmed, underwent a pre-fermentative maceration at low temperatures for 12 hours. The alcoholic fermentation was done in mills, with temperature control, not exceeding 27ºC, during 10 days, with the use of robot to step. The wine aged for 18 months in second and third use French oak barrels. Deep color of violet tonally, with good concentration in the nose. Rich in aroma, with notes of ripe black fruit and spices combined with floral notes. In the mouth it looks elegant and fresh, with an excellent tannins-acidity combination, and a long, smooth and elegant finish.

Obtained without pressing of the grapes Bical, Maria Gomes and Arinto, created in Argilo-Limestone soils and Atlantic climate. Vineyards installed in red soils derived from brown or crystalline limestones, with shale spots, benefiting from a Mediterranean climate with high thermal amplitudes and hot and dry summers. After the green interventions required during the growing cycle, the grapes were manually harvested and transported to the winery in small boxes. After malolatic fermentation, the wine partially aged for 12 months in 2. and 3. year French and American oak barrels. After bottling it rested in bottle for 2 months in our basement. To preserve all its qualities, this wine has not been stabilized, it can naturally create a deposit. Clear wine, violet red, aromas of cherry, blackberry, spices and floral notes.
