Quinta do Crasto Reserve Old Vines aged in French oak barrels (85%) and American oak barrels (15%), where it remained for about 18 months. The grapes from Vinhas Velhas were transported in boxes of 22 kg capacity and subjected to rigorous sorting on a table of choice at the entrance to the cellar. After a complete destemming and a slight crushing, the must was transferred to fermentation vats in stainless steel with controlled temperature. At the end of the alcoholic fermentation, a soft pressing was carried out. With a deep ruby ??color, it impresses on the nose for its extraordinary freshness and complexity, with fresh aromas of forest, where fresh notes of rock rose, and seductive aromas of wild Douro fruits stand out. In the mouth it presents an elegant beginning, evolving into a wine of excellent volume and solid structure, where we find tannins with a complex texture. Quinta do Crasto Tinta Roriz Red

The grapes from the best Tinta Roriz field at Quinta do Crasto were transported in boxes of 22 kg of food plastic and subjected to a rigorous sorting at the entrance of the winery. After a traditional mill tread, the masses were transferred to an open-top stainless steel vat and mechanical stems where they were fermented for 10 days at controlled temperature. After the alcoholic fermentation the grapes were gently pressed in hydraulic presses. Aged in new barrels of 225 liters of French oak for 18 months. It has an opaque, violet color laden with aroma of excellent aromatic intensity, where notes of ripe red fruits stand out, fresh notes of esteva, which resemble menthol notes. Very complex and inviting aroma. In the mouth has a powerful beginning, evolved to a wine of great volume, massive tannins but of elegant texture. All very well wrapped in retro nose scents that resemble red fruits. A very gastronomic wine of seductive character that finishes balanced and persistent. Contains Sulfites.

Quinta do Crasto Vintage 2015 Ruby

Quinta do Crasto Porto Vintage 2015 aged in Portuguese oak barrels, where it remained for about 2 years. It was bottled, without any bonding or filtration, being subject to creating a slight deposit during its aging in the bottle. The grapes, from Vinhas Velhas, were transported in food plastic boxes and subjected to a rigorous sorting at the entrance of the cellar. After a gentle crushing without destemming, they were sent to a traditional stone press where they were stepped on by men at regular intervals. Subsequently, wine spirit was added, thus stopping fermentation. Opaque color, excellent concentration and aromatic depth, where you can highlight the expressive notes of ripe wild fruits, fresh rockrose and mild spice. In the mouth it has an elegant beginning, progressively evolved into a wine of great volume and concentration, composed of fresh tannins with a firm and very compact texture. It finishes fresh, very long and elegant, with a notable aromatic explosion of very ripe wild fruits, in perfect harmony with rockrose notes. Everything in perfect balance, which provides a high potential for aging in the bottle. Contains sulfites.

Crasto Superior White

The grapes, coming from the Douro Superior, were transported in 22 kg boxes and subjected to rigorous sorting at the entrance to the winery. They were later de-stemmed and pressed. The pressed must was transferred to a stainless steel tank where it was kept at a temperature of 8ºC for 48 hours until it was decanted. Afterwards, the alcoholic fermentation started in a stainless steel tank and later the wine was transferred to French oak barrels where the fermentation ended at a temperature of 14ºC for a period of 45 days. Crasto Superior aged in French oak barrels, where it remained for 6 months, in the process of working fine lees “bâtonnage”, with the barrels resting on a rotating system that allows the lees to be lifted without incorporating oxygen. It has a pale lemon color, has an excellent freshness and minerality on the nose, well integrated with fresh citrus fruit notes. Evolves in the mouth in a captivating way to a wine of great seriousness, with a vibrant acidity and great volume, very fresh and mineral. A wine with a gastronomic profile that ends up seductive and with enormous persistence. Contains sulfites.

Crasto Superior Syrah Red

The grapes, from our Quinta da Cabreira, in - Douro Superior, were transported in food plastic boxes and subjected to rigorous sorting at the entrance to the cellar. After a complete destemming and a slight crushing, the must was transferred to fermentation vats in stainless steel with controlled temperature. It aged in French oak barrels, where it remained for about 16 months. With a rich ruby color, with an excellent aromatic expression that surprises on the nose for the intense floral notes, well integrated with aromas of ripe wild fruits and fine spice. In the mouth it starts in a harmonious way, evolving into a wine of great seriousness, where we find a compact structure, with fine texture tannins. Finishes elegant and with excellent presence. Crasto DOC White

The grapes, from previously selected plots, were transported in 22 kg food plastic boxes and subjected to rigorous sorting at the entrance to the cellar. They were subsequently destemmed and pressed. The pressed wort was transferred to a stainless steel vat where it was kept at a temperature of 8ºC for 48 hours until decanting. Then, alcoholic fermentation took place in a stainless steel vat with controlled temperatures of 14º C for a period of 30 days. Aging 3 months in stainless steel vats. Bright citrus colored wine, with expressive aromas of tropical fruits reminiscent of fresh passion fruit, in perfect harmony with soft floral notes. Starts in the mouth tasting in a captivating way, evolving into a balanced wine, of medium volume and structure, very well integrated with excellent sensations of minerality. Dark ruby color, with excellent aromatic intensity where floral notes of violet stand out and expressive aromas of wild fruits. At the end of the alcoholic fermentation, a soft pressing was carried out. Quinta do Crasto Touriga Franca 2016 aged in French oak barrels where it remained for 18 months. It has a deep violet color. On the nose, it impresses with its intensity and concentration of red fruit aromas in perfect harmony with soft floral notes. In the mouth tasting it presents an intense start, evolving into an elegant profile wine, with excellent volume of mouth and silky texture tannins, all very well integrated with notes of red fruits. It ends in perfect balance, with an extraordinary persistence and full of freshness. A wine that perfectly reflects the identity of the variety. Contains sulfites.
