Pacheca 30 Year Old Tawny
Pacheca 30 year old Tawny Port is a wine resulting from several Port wines that aged in old 550 liter barrels over many years in the cool warehouse at Quinta da Pacheca. During aging, the wine loses its color, becoming orange/red. Traditional red grape varieties from the Douro region originating from old vines. Its original red color gives way to amber tones. Its flavor is enriched by a combination of nuts, dried fruits and the aromas of red fruits. .
Pacheca 20 Years Tawny
Pacheca Porto Tawny 20 Years is a wine resulting from a batch of several Port Wines that aged in oak casks over many years in the cool warehouse at Quinta da Pacheca. During the aging of the wine it acquires its characteristic amber-brownish color. It presents itself with an elegant nose, combining aromas of dried fruits and complex notes of chocolate, buttery caramel and fine oak wood .
Pacheca Superior Red
Pacheca Grande Reserva Touriga Nacional Red
This wine is obtained exclusively from the Touriga Nacional variety from a 32-year-old plot installed at an altitude of 140 meters. After careful selection for their best condition, the grapes were harvested in boxes of 25 kg and sent to the winery where they were totally destemmed. Fermentation took place during 9 days in traditional 7-ton granite stone tanks with stepping and soft reassembly for leaching by blanket and extraction of phenolic and aromatic compounds. At the end of the alcoholic fermentation, the wine was transferred to new French oak barrels where the malolactic fermentation took place and aged for about 18 months. Pacheca Touriga Nacional is an elegant wine with good aromatic intensity, notes of bergamot and violet with well integrated wood. In the mouth it reveals good structure, round tannins, freshness and a long and persistent finish. Contains sulfites.
Pacheca Superior White
After careful selection for their best condition, the grapes were harvested into 25 kg trunks and sent to the vinification center where they were lightly pressed in a pneumatic press. The resulting must was sent to stainless steel vats and cooled, where it remained for 24 hours to decant. At the end of this period, it was filtered and transferred to another stainless steel vat where it was inoculated with selected yeasts, having fermented at a controlled temperature of 14-16ºC. After alcoholic fermentation, it aged in 2nd year French oak barrels with weekly bâtonnage for 6 months. Pacheca Superior White has a complex aroma, some tropical fruit notes such as pineapple and passion fruit and toasted notes from the barrel. In the mouth it is marked by exotic fruit wrapped in toasted wood notes that give it a rich body and a long and persistent finish. Contains sulfites.
Pacheca 10 Years Tawny
It is a wine that resulted from a mixture of old aged barrel ports matures in the cool and quiet Quinta da Pacheca cellar. Over many years of aging, the wine takes on its tawny amber color, slowly developing complex flavors and delicious mouthfeel. Rich and elegant nose with a delicate nuttiness and subtle soft notes of chocolate, caramel and oak wood as well .
