Messias Vintage 2011 + 2 Copos Ruby
Fermented wine with partial destemming at a controlled temperature (24-28ºC) when the wort reaches the desired sweetness value, the fermentation is interrupted by the addition of aguardente (77%), later staggered in oak wood, in the warehouses in Vila Nova de Gaia until bottled, between the 2nd and 3rd year, after being approved. Deep red color, in the nose exalts the aromas of black fruit of the forest, with touches of violet and nuances of black pepper. On the palate there is an explosion of ripe fruit combined with a high freshness, with very good tannins that give it immense life and prolongation of the mouth, a characteristic that increases its potential for aging, although it can be consumed already. Quinta de la Rosa 10 Anos Tawny
Every year a small number of our best ports - of LBV quality and above - are stored in oak barrels. With an average age of 10 years, it is from the mixture of these stocks that the Quinta de la Rosa Tawny 10 Years (or Tonel 12) is born. At Quinta de La Rosa, Port wines are stored and bottled in the Douro and not in Vila Nova de Gaia, as is the case in most Houses, allowing a singular trait from picking the grape to the bottle wine. It is a rich and elegant mix with wonderful aromas that exude from the Douro. The palate is complex; reveals aromas of nuts, figs, honey and almonds and a nice and pleasant length. The wines of the Port of Quinta de la Rosa follow the traditional style: fermented with foot steps in granite wineries and stagiados in old barrels and barrels (oak barrels of 550 liters) of old wood. A nice style where berries and red fruits dominate the palate, Final de boca is devoid of alcoholic connotations. Some of the grapes come from the vineyards of Quinta do Noval, the rest are vineyards classified in the heart of the Douro valley. Some of the grapes are crushed in traditional Quinta vats. Another is crushed mechanically in steel vats. This mechanical pressing process was designed specifically for Noval, geared to the needs of our technical team. Poças Colheita 2008 Tawny
Fermentation with controlled temperature, interrupted by addition of wine spirit. Aging in oak casks for a period of not less than 7 years. It evolves by oxidation in the same way as Port Wines with age, presenting the unique characteristics of the year of harvest. Poças Colheita 2008 is a high quality Port, coming from a single harvest, aged in hull for at least seven years. In this process, young aromas, fresh and fruity, evolve into a complex and elegant bouquet, well combined with a velvety texture and a persistent finish.
Quinta Seara D’Ordens Extra Dry White
This Port is characterized by the balance between freshness and alcohol. Total disengagement and fermentation in stainless steel tanks with temperature control. Stage of 5 months in stainless steel and 2 months in bottle. It is a wine that allows to increase the varietal character of the grapes that were vinified, enhancing the aromas and the acidity of the wine. In the proof presents pale white color, fruity aroma and in the mouth very soft and fresh.
