Malvasia Preta is one of the oldest varieties in the Douro, being present among the Vinhas Velhas of the region, although it was never produced as a single variety. With a distinct profile, it is combined with varieties such as Rufete, Tinta Francisca and Bastardo, which present more exotic and elegant wine profiles, living on intensity and acidity, as opposed to the structured and potent profile that the Douro usually presents us with. The curiosity that leads us to experiment with Malvasia Preta, essentially arises from the fact that it is an original variety from the Douro, being present in the region and resisting the harsh conditions of the terroir. Grapes carefully selected from 8 parcels: Parcela Major - Touriga Nacional 30%, Parcela Vinha dos Amores - Touriga Nacional 20%, Parcela Rachadouro - Tinta Roriz 10%, Parcela Alminhas - Jaen 10%, Parcela Alto dos Amores - Alfrocheiro 7.5 % , Parcela Matinha - Alicante Bouschet 7.5 %, Parcela Alagoa - Tinto Cão 7.5 % and Parcela Casal Sancho - Alfrocheiro 7.5 %. Intense garnet color with slight brownish tones. Intense and complex aroma, with high quality tertiary notes. It also presents spicy and dried fruit notes. In the mouth it is complex, smooth, well structured and with a notable final persistence. Contains sulfites.

Manual harvest at night, very selective, in 20kg boxes. Direct pressing without crushing, with natural defecation. Long fermentation at 12ºC, part in stainless steel vats (80%) and part in barrels (20%). Intense battonage during the first 30 days in barrel. Straw yellow color, intense fresh nose, floral notes with texture, rich in aromas and good persistence. Contains sulfites.

Quinta dos Aciprestes Grande Reserva Sousão Red
The color is typical deep ruby of the breed. On the nose a slight highlight of vegetable nuances that combine with fine notes of ripe fruit and typical tertiary notes of variety such as coffee and spices, offering a lot of complexity and intensity. In the mouth shows a profile that allows to be consumed while young, however, will certainly reward those who choose to evolutiom oin the bootle. Contains Sulfites.

Ruby colored wine, very young. On the nose there are aromas of ripe black fruit, notes of pine and pine needles and nuances of truffle and moss. Subtly also appear the barrel notes, where the wine passed for 18 months. In the mouth, it is surprising for its freshness and firm tannin with claw, but refined. It is a wine with a good volume in the mouth, with a long and balanced finish. Contains sulfites.

Partial aging in French oak barrels for 12 months. Ruby color with violet tones, elegant aroma with good complexity, notes of chocolate, spices, ripe red fruit of good intensity, light smoked well integrated with floral notes that confer harmony. In the mouth it is elegant, showing a correct balance. Good volume, well structured and round tannins. Persistent and pleasant finish with toasted notes giving a pleasant feeling. Contains sulfites.

A more complex and structured flavor profile than Whispering Angel bringing it into a more premium realm, giving rosé lovers a bigger, richer wine. Delicate aromas of red fruits with mineral notes, along with floral notes and a subtle spice. Rich and bold on the palate. The use of partial oak aging adds a creamy feel and texture to this wine, and the flint minerality gives it another layer of complexity. Powerful and elegant. Firm acidity with a long, silky finish. Manual harvest for 15 kg boxes, grape selection and fermentation for 10 days at 24ºC. Partial aging in French oak barrels for 9 months. Closed ruby color. Elegant combination of ripe red fruits and balsamic notes. Subtle notes of spices and some vanilla hints appear. Full but at the same time elegant, it shows the freshness that the proximity of the sea gives it. It is captivating due to its silky texture while still being vibrant and firm. The sensation of freshness and elegance accompanies a long finish. Contains sulfites.

Pale red color. The freshness transpires from the first moment, noticeable in the floral and elegant slope that is complemented by a luscious and balanced fruit. Melodic and polished, fruity and smooth, it finishes seductive and silky although contained by firm tannins and a refreshing acidity. A wine of pure elegance with the capacity to evolve serenely in a bottle. Contains Sulfites.

Produced from grapes harvested manually and selected with rigor. The fermentation took place in stainless steel mills, of small dimensions with temperature control in order to preserve all the aromatic elegance. After the fermentation it staged in 4 types of oak barrels during 12 months and the same period in the bottle. Of course, garnet color, the nose features an intense profile aroma, suggesting ripe fruit with soft wood notes and spice notes. The palate shows the full-bodied and well-balanced acidity, with robust and good tannins combined with long and elegant final finish. Contains Sulfites.

Made from Castelão grapes from an old vine located in Herdade da Agualva, it is a wine of enormous extraction, vinified to last for decades. After the first 12 months of aging in a barrel, the family gathers in tasting and selects the three best barrels to extend the aging for another 12 months. A wine of strong character and strong personality, it claims the responsibility of being a true Castelão de Palmela. Contains sulfites.
