This wine expresses the desire to make a Touriga Nacional from old vines. In a region where the old vineyard consists of a wide range of grape varieties mixed in the same plot. In 2009, 3,500 kg of Touriga Nacional were harvested from a single 80-year-old vineyard, which implied making a choice of Touriga Nacional grape varieties in the large set of grape varieties of that parcel. Vinification was done in a cement vat with pre- and post-fermentative maceration. Aging for 1 year in 225 liter French oak barrels. Opaque red color, aroma of red fruits with spicy notes. Full-bodied, fresh and elegant. Long aftertaste. Contains sulfites.

Typical light ruby breed color. Aromas of cherries and black plums. On the palate it has nuances of discrete toast well integrated and that gives it elegance. Its persistence and delicacy allow to understand its gastronomic function. Great for enjoying after a decade of stage. Contains Sulfites.
