Niepoort Tiara White
32,42 €
Selection of grapes in the vineyard, they were transported in 25 kg boxes in a refrigerated truck. At the entrance to the cellar, a second sorting was carried out. The grapes were pressed gently into a stainless steel vat where the must decanted cold. It was followed by a racking to a Foudre, where it spontaneously fermented for about a year (alcoholic and malolactic fermentation), with room temperature control. The Tiara has an admittedly elegant profile, marked by the purity of the grape varieties and acidity. The long fermentation in Foudres from 1500L – 3000L and over 30 years old makes all the difference! The nose is discreet, with floral notes characteristic of the Códega do Larinho variety, with a base of citrus fruits and orchard fruits and a touch of honey. In the mouth it has volume and structure. The aftertaste is almost spicy, long, persistent balanced by excellent acidity. This Tiara is a versatile wine that can start and end a meal, to open young, but that will certainly have a long life in the bottle. Contains sulfites.
