Saborinho, also known as Tinta Negra or Molar de Colares, is one of the traditional red varieties from the Azores islands that almost disappeared from the vineyards. Sabor(Z)inho has a good texture, elegance and good acidity. A fresh, open-coloured, iodized, saline, complex red with the flavor of something that could only have been born in the sea.

The grape must was fermented with the skin to extract more color and tannin. Temperatures were controlled so that the fruity aroma was preserved. A small percentage of oak was used to complement and give structure. Light ruby color. Aroma of red fruits, wild berries involved with notes of volcanic sulfur and slight vanilla. In the mouth it is very elegant and smooth with a medium body. It ends with a pleasant and persistent salty taste. Contains sulfites.

The white grapes that make up this wine come from schist soil vineyards planted at an average altitude of 350 meters, with northeast exposure, between Freixo de Espada à Cinta and Barca d'Alva. Hand picking vintage. The grapes are slowly pressed, followed by fermentation at a temperature of 16ºC in French oak barrels with battonage. Aging for 6 months in French oak barrels and stainless steel vats with Battonage. Strong traces of minerality and citrus, with a light touch of wood caused by aging in French oak barrels. Contains sulfites.
