It is fermented in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature of 25-27ºC with grapes previously selected and destemmed to 100%. Malolactic fermentation is also carried out in stainless steel. It is aged for 10 months in French oak casks of different ages. After the manual harvest and careful selection of the grapes, the fermentation took place in small stainless steel presses, with controlled temperature. After fermentation, it aged for 6 months in new medium toasted French oak barrels. Intense ruby color, with deep and complex aromas, with red fruits, balsamic notes and dry tobacco leaf. Quintas de Borba Grand Reserve Red

This wine comes from selected grapes in the oldest vineyards in the Borba region. After rigorous control of the maturation evolution of the grapes in the vineyard, upon arrival at the winery the grapes were de-stemmed and gently crushed, followed by the alcoholic fermentation process in a stainless steel press, with mechanical treading, ending in maceration for 10 days, under temperature control at 22-25ºC. Malolactic fermentation took place in a small stainless steel tank. Aging for 12 months in new French, American and brown oak barrels prior to bottling and a final aging in the cellar for 12 months in bottle. Garnet color. Aroma of black fruit jam. Full flavor with soft, fruity and toasted tannins, with final freshness and sweet cocoa.
