After partial destemming, the wine fermented in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature. After this process, the wine was transferred to French oak barrels, where it remained for 24 months before being bottled. Casa Ferreirinha Touriga-Feminino is a red wine of great aromatic range, presenting notes of wild red fruits, notes of macerated black fruits, balsamic notes, spices and subtle notes of wood. It is an extraordinarily elegant red, full of volume and concentration, with imposing and vibrant tannins and elegant acidity. Contains sulfites.

Quinta de Arcossó Reserva White

Quinta de Arcossó Reserva White is an exceptional example, the result of a careful selection of grapes from two different parcels. The first, a 2.5-hectare plot, is part of a 12-hectare vineyard planted in 2003, while the second, 5 hectares, is part of a set of 8 hectares planted between 2016 and 2017. Both are located on generous slopes, at altitudes of 400 and 500 meters, respectively, facing South and Southeast, with significant slopes and granite soil, guaranteeing the excellence of the raw material.
The vinification of this White Reserve is carried out with meticulous care, where around 40% of the alcoholic fermentation takes place in French oak barrels, accompanied by "bâtonnage" over 10 months. This process gives the wine a unique complexity and richness, evident in its multifaceted aroma, which combines fruity nuances with a very subtle touch of wood and distinct notes of wet stone, adding depth to its taste profile. After bottling, the wine is carefully aged in the bottle for 4 months, ensuring the evolution and perfection of its character.
Upon tasting, Quinta de Arcossó Reserva White reveals a full body, fresh and at the same time unctuous, a true delight for the palate. The finish surprises with a hint of salinity, making each sip a unique and memorable experience. The Proibido wine originates in Vinhas Velhas between 40 and 80 years of age, coming from Vila Nova de Foz Côa. Small plots facing north or east between 250m and 500m altitude. All work is practically done by hand, without the use of herbicides or pesticides. When necessary, we till the land with the help of a work horse. We therefore respect what the vineyard gives us, and we try to make the transformation of the grapes into wine as natural as possible. gentle maceration and low temperature fermentation. Aging 15 months in used barrels. This wine presents a well-marked black fruit on the nose with great intensity, toasted notes and spices. A well-balanced wine in the mouth, with a very long, persistent body and well-file tannins. Contains sulfites.

Manual harvesting, reception with total destemming and crushing immediately, the grapes are fermented by varieties and lots, so from an early stage if you can maka a rigorous selection that will later give rise to the traditional blend of the old world, it reveals the art of selecting grapes by parcels and the art of selecting wines to later fill. The fermentation is made in stainless steel tanks of small capacity, with temperatures around 28ºC. Soft and controlled macering to obtain elegant and aromatic wines.
