Bowmore is a Scottish whiskey from Islay Island. Composed of single malts, they are at least 12 years of age in American and Spanish oak casks and are distilled with water from the Laggan River, with a rich peat flavor. Aged in ex-bourbon casks, this light gold single malt gently opens to flavours of honeyed figs and delicious malt balls, finishing with rich fruitcake sweetness. Like House Stark, Dalwhinnie Winter’s Frost is loyal to the flavour profile that the distillery is known for, and not only survives the cold of winter, but uses it to its advantage.

A 1996 Benrinnes single malt from French indie bottler La Maison du Whisky, matured in a hogshead and bottled as part of the third release of its Artist Collective series and the bottle features a piece entitles Intarsia by artist David Crunelle. Refined aromas of ripe plums, pears, lily, iris, tobacco, clove and honey fill the nose. The palate offers notes of wild peaches, lime, coconut milk, vanilla, sage, chamomile and roasted coffee that linger in the finish.
