Poças is the Portuguese side of Douro history. Founded in 1918, it is one of the few wine companies in Porto that was born Portuguese and has remained in the possession of the same family since its foundation. In 2018, he writes a new chapter in his story: the 100th anniversary celebration.

Pacheca 30 year old Tawny Port is a wine resulting from several Port wines that aged in old 550 liter barrels over many years in the cool warehouse at Quinta da Pacheca. During aging, the wine loses its color, becoming orange/red. Traditional red grape varieties from the Douro region originating from old vines. Its original red color gives way to amber tones. Its flavor is enriched by a combination of nuts, dried fruits and the aromas of red fruits. .

Manual harvest and then transported in boxes. Alcoholic fermentation. Maceration with an approximate temperature. 28-30ºC. Aging in old wooden casks until bottling. Amber in color with a strong greenish olive nuance, this Port has an excellent aroma of dried fruits like almond and spices. Full and very complex, reminiscent of honey and dried fruits again. Excellent and conventual aftertaste that conveys a little of the grandeur that is the Douro. Contains sulfites.
