Mariquinhas without fruit with 12 Chocolate Cups

Carefully crafted to Martini's original 1872 recipe, this bitter aperitif makes up one third of what Martini have hailed as the 'perfect Negroni'. The other two ingredients are Bombay Sapphire Gin and Martini's Riserva Speciale Vermouth di Torino. Botanicals used to make Riserva Speciale Bitter include saffron, angostura and Columba, as well as Italian Artemisia - something which ensures it complements the flavour profile of Martini's vermouth.

A most attractive herbal nose with a quiet and musty note. Bittersweet in the mouth with a slight note of ginger, cinnamon, cloves and green apple. Very attractive.

The original liqueur was created in 1880 by Louis-Alexandre Marnier Lapostolle, a delicate blend of fine cognacs and distilled essence of tropical oranges with the secret touch of Marnier-Lapostolle. Bright topaz color with shades of gold and amber, complex aroma of orange blossoms combined with scents of crystallized zest and caramel. The bitter orange flavors are enhanced by cognac with nuances of orange marmalade and hazelnuts. The finish is long and harmonious.

An infusion of Arabica coffee from Colombia with a balanced and harmonious flavor. Added to this coffee infusion, a vanilla infusion and a touch of cognac. A generous recipe, specific to Marie Brizard.
